can any one tell me how steroids affect the biochemical level and the neurotransmitters? Please list where you got the information.

This is way to complex to answer here - there are three classes of steroids, and several different steroids in each class, and each steroid has different effects. You can search for info on each of the steroid types:

* Sex steroids: androgens, estrogens, and progestagens.
* Corticosteroids: glucocorticoids and mineralocorticoids
