If it's a drug yes, if it's not a drug no. There are natural cures available now. My girlfriend's cat was sick a year ago, we were told chemo treatments or put her to sleep. Well we started giving her Zeolite, and she's still alive and doing well.

The drug companies are very powerful here, they have more lobbyists in Washington than any other group. The American journal of medicine is supported by the drug companies, they pay money to run ads in that magazine, so you will never see an ad there for zeolite.

So why aren't the drug companies selling zeolite? They can't get a patent on it because it is an all natural mineral not a drug...so in other words they can't make money on it.

What's more many doctors are afraid to offer anything but standard treatments (chemo, radiation) because the AMA will come after them and take their license away. They are labeled as quacks.

Around the turn of the century there were many schools of natural medicine (herbs & homopathic). Anyone could practice medicine and there were quacks and the government passed laws that doctors should be licensed so as to protect the public.

Drugs started coming into use and the schools of natural medicine faded away. Today the accepted form of treatment for cancer is drugs, radiation and surgery. However there are still clinics in Mexico where you can go for natural treatments.

I can put my opinion for prostate cancer. There are a dozen cancer vaccine drugs being tested in the USA right now with encouraging results. Not a cure, but a start. I read that 2 vaccines combined actually shrank cancer tumors in tests. One vaccine alone extended life for late stage cancer patients.

Why are these so slow to reach the market? Testing is expensive, and the government is not doing enough to pump money into testing programs to speed up delivery to the market. With a trillion dollars spent in the wars in the middle east, the government would rather spend money to kill than to save lives. If we could just get one of these drugs to the market, others would follow, and better ones would start development. I see a cure here if the USA leaders would think about spending that Trillion here on domestic programs such as drug testing subsidies and health care, rather than on a futile war in Iraq. It wont happen in my lifetime, especially since my life will end soon because of prostate cancer.

Since there are many forms of cancer, I would have to say No! They may find cures for some, but not all.

A cure for all of them? No. There are so many different types that it would be nearly impossible to have one type of 'cure'. I do think treatment methods will improve as they make new discoveries everyday. I would like to see some sort of treatment that didn't have the nasty side effects of chemo or radiations, but I don't know how likely that is either.

God I hope so and I hope they find the cure for metastisized breast cancer in a hurry so my mom can actually have a chance to live to an old age. If not ... well, I'll lose her when she is too young to go. At this point, I would be happy to have her here for my wedding and my first baby.. she will be a WONDERFUL grandma and I want her to have that chance...
