You could very well have a faulty item. Call the 800 number on the package and those folks will help you get started. And if they find you've got a bad meter, they'll zip you out a new one!

I found the customer service number for you - 1-800-858-8072, available 24/7/365

Hello, your grandmother picked the #1 glucose machine to use.
Before I started using my Ultra Smart, I called some hospitals to ask which brand they used. 90% used LifeScan brand.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to avoid your question. I totally agree with the other person who told you to call them up. Your grandma will not be disappointed she chose a winning company.

I have gone through countless number of machines. I lost a few and broke a few. LifeScan Always have replaced them by overnight Express mail, at no cost to me.

Good-Luck!

Naturally, Fonda
