Oh okay, I get it. I'm just wondering because as far as I know I'm cancer-free.

Yes, what happens is because hair follicles are constantly working and multiplying - hence growing hair, they are very sensitive to the drugs that kill off rapidly dividing tumour cells. This causes the hair follicles to die and not grow new hair so the hair falls out. Luckily, when the chemo is out of the sytem the follicles will recover and the hair grows back.

Yes, your hair will soon grow back. But this happens whether the chemo has been effective or not.

Congratulations on finishing your chemo, if you have. I wish you health.

My girlfriend had extensive chemo for breast cancer, lost all hair, including eyebrows...They were blond....came back jet black...She dyes it a different color each month. She says...now that it's back I'm going to have some fun with it....What a great spirit she has....I agree with her 100%...the different looks are erotic.

Yes, it does. I had a friend who went through chemo and lost all her hair. When the treatment was done, her hair began to regrow.

Yea it does, the reason they lose their hair is from the chemo and if the chemotherapy is stopped then they gain it back and the body resumes normal function
