Diabetes runs in my family for odd reasons! And a few months ago my Uncle had been diagnosed with diabetes. All this time it made it harder for me to be around him. Any Advice on how I can cope?

I was thinking it's because the aorta extends into the abdomen but then again, I also heard that aortic aneurysms pulsate too. I've had this sensation since I was a kid though so I'm wondering if it's normal. I never learned about it in school even though I'm now a nurse. Just like some knowledgeable input. Thanks.

I am 36 years old and have always had problems with my skin.

Whenever I get any spots, they always leave a scar or a hole. Also, I constantly have "White spots". I don't know what causes them or how to get rid of them. They are not like normal spots that go away - they never go but they do seem to be increasing. I know that at 36, my skin will never be perfect, but this has been going on for years (probably since my teens).

Any ideas of things that I can do or products that I can use to help??

I have a terminall illness, and theres nothing that can be done for me.
I was born with a hole in my heart, and i was sent to hospital age 4yrs with my parents, but the professor didnt see anything and sent me home.So because the hole in my heart wasnt detected i then collapsed at 21years old where i suffered no oxygen going to my brain as the blood flow was going right to left through chambers of heart and not going to lungs to produce oxygen to my brain. When consultants took tests to consider closing the hole in the heart they discovered i also had primary pulmonary hypertension also known as Eisenmenger Syndrome(you can check this online if want to know more). Then i was told i wouldnt live a matter of weeks, i was told also id never have children as it would kill me and my child, but 8yrs ago on 26/8/99 i gave birth to my boy 5months early weighing 2lb-2oz.Id love to do things for him but on warfrin i cant tavel i require blood tests every 2/4days.Machine i need is £399.im 34yrs old

My hair brushed against my cold sore several times, before brushing my cheek where it lays flat. Did I infect my cheek?

My husband was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes a year ago and before eating meals he needs to test his blood and give himself a diabetes shot. This has become very embarrassing for me when we eat at restaurants because people stare and look uncomfortable when he has his needle and vials out at our table and gives himself a shot. I have asked him to do this in the bathroom or out in the vehicle but he complains about the lack of sanitary conditions, poor lighting, etc. I have pointed out to him that I have never seen anyone else give themselves a shot while sitting in a restaurant. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!
Anna

I know someone who has scabs ALL OVER her face and legs and arms. It's really discusting to look at... but the ones on her face are big... the only thing i can think of is that she picks at herself. I have a hunch that she is using drugs... but i am wondering what would cause these eye sores on her face???? I've heard that crystal meth can cause people to pick at their face... but can crack/cocaine also cause the same thing? or any other drugs?

my face isn't totally bad, but it is bad. I have little blackheads everywhere, especially around my nose and forehead. my face does get really oily, but when i use certain products, my face totally dries out. I have bumps that aren't really zits or anything but they are on my cheeks and around my eyebrows. is there an acne product out there (that works really well) to help me get rid of this stuff? I tried proactive and it's not really working that well.

I have some acne scars around my chin area, sort of on the sides, the jawline. They are not the deep pitted kind, but the kind that has left behind, a reddish purplish mark. My derm said these fade, but they havent. Or a new one just comes along. I really want to get rid of these. Im 29, i've never had good skin, i want it. I see people having boob jobs, nose jobs, labiaplasties, you name it...all i want is clear, flawless looking skin. What are some procedures i could have done or are there any creams i could use? Doesnt matter how thin i am, or how good my hair looks...flawed skin just isnt pretty.

There is a family history of this in my family. I am unsure as to the beginning stages and I was wondering what to be watching for. Mothers side but not the males in the family.
