I understand exactly how you feel. I have severe Rosacea (it resembles acne when it is bad). When I have a flare-up, I don't want to go out, don't want any visitors (my family are used to my face). I am more fortunate than you, as I can wear make-up at times, to cover the redness.

Keep on the Roaccutane- I've been on it 3 times (the last time for 6 months) but if after another month, your skin is no better, see your dermatologist and ask if you could have a stronger dosage.

the very best of luck

You need to deal with Fear, Anxiety and Stress. Acne is a skin disorder usually on the face, neck, back and shoulders. For many years it was considered to be strictly a result of excessive oil in the skin as a result of puberty. however, recent medical research has identified adolescent acne as fear, anxiety, and stress that is a result of peer pressure. It is not a genetic, biologic problem by itself, but in most cases the kids are afraid of other kids. That leve of fear and anxiety triggers increased histamine secretion behind the skin and also increases the secretion of oil in the epidermis, causing acne. Isn't that an amazing discovery? It is the result of fear, anxiety and stress.

Find a deliverance ministry in your area and ask them to cast out the spirit of fear and you may have a spirit of infirmity or death. Antidepressants don't cure the problem. They cover it and sometimes make it worse. Try the Lord first - always. Have you not heard, whom the Lord sets free is free indeed. You are being kept in bondage by these evil spirits. Call a deliverance ministry or speak to a church that will find one for you. Don't give up - find one. You can be made a slave to this phobia. Don't let it happen.

There's so much more to life than spots, and anyone who doesn't see past that isn't worth knowing anyway. Believe me, I know how awful it can make you feel, because I've been there too, but you can't let it rule your life. Don't let the spots win! Its so much easier said than done, but please don't hide yourself away. Focus on the great things about yourself, not the things you hate. You might have a kind heart, a wonderful laugh or be a brilliant listener- concentrate upon these things that I'm sure people will take much more notice of than a skin problem. Don't miss out on what life has to offer, go out there and get it!!!

I would say its normal for you feel like that as you are obviously letting spots take over your life completely. I was the same I had spots and I could not look in any mirrors was on anti depressants, wore black all the time as I thought no one would notice me and not notice my spots, but really I have grown up and in reality my spots were not that bad!

If someone has a spot I don't even notice it until they point it out to me!!

Don't worry so much! Who cares!? They will clear up eventually!

Yes, spots get alot of my friends down but thankfully I'm lucky enough not to have outbreaks.... so far! My dad had terrible acne when he was younger and just had to put up with it.

You must control your meals. Take some fresh vegetables and salads from your local market, and drink a lot of fresh water. Avoid eating cheese, chocolates and or fats. If you are a teen man, it could be an overproduction of the male hormone testosterone. Try to have safer-sex to release a little bit of this energy. I hope this helps.

Don't worry, if people whisper or stare then it's their problem. They've obviously got some issues and are trying to make themselves feel better by picking fault with someone else.
Stay confident with who you are and watch what you eat, it'll soon clear up.
A good personality and a cheeky smile can take the focus off anything, so keep smiling.

You've probably been told this before and having had bad spots as a teenager I know it's hard to believe at times but spots don't look as bad to others looking at you as they do to you.

We have a subconscious habit of magnifying the severity of spots in our minds and think that they are all that people see and look at, well they're not.

Its a little more extreme than I would do ( severe eczema)

I feel bad when people stare and whisper about me like I'm not there, but hey, I don't let it get to me. I'll never see them again, and they aren't very good people to be making fun of me. I don't care what ignorant people say most of the time.

Thankfully, most people don't do that where I live. Don't think about it if they don't say anything.

someone told me putting toothpaste on your spots helps them disappear quicker. Its nothing to be worried about, most people don't really care.
