I have some acne scars around my chin area, sort of on the sides, the jawline. They are not the deep pitted kind, but the kind that has left behind, a reddish purplish mark. My derm said these fade, but they havent. Or a new one just comes along. I really want to get rid of these. Im 29, i've never had good skin, i want it. I see people having boob jobs, nose jobs, labiaplasties, you name it...all i want is clear, flawless looking skin. What are some procedures i could have done or are there any creams i could use? Doesnt matter how thin i am, or how good my hair looks...flawed skin just isnt pretty.

Niacinamide face cleansing pads are effective and simple way to keep acne away. Just place a pad on the pimple and watch it fade away. Lavender Oil helps prevent skin drying. Niacinamide pads are also known as Vitamin B3 pads or Nicotinamide pads. Give them a try and you will be pleasantly surprised. Niacinamide also helps diminish skin-hyperpigmentation (acne scars).

I am also 29 and had a similar problem with my skin, but not from acne. I had brown splotches all over my face from the birth control pill. But, they were just as dark as acne scars. it cost me close to 1,000 dollars to have them faded (although not completely). First off, go to either a medical skin clinic or a derm and see about trying Retinol (retin-A). That faded my splotches pretty quickly. I also had microdermabrasion done, and also a couple of photofacials. The photofacials work really really well. YOu can also try like a glycolic peel, but I have never tried that, but I heard from a few people that they work really well. These procedures can be done a skin clinic, and the clinics also have products you can use on your face. There are fading creams as well, but stay away from hydroquinone, it damages your skin (it can destroy melanin). A skin clinic will have fading creams, some without hydroquinone. The one I use has botanical based lighteners in it, and also a lot of antioxidants to help protect from further damage. I also use a high potency vitamin C cream in the morning before putting on sunscreen (high potency Vitamin C can be purchased at a clinic also) and vitamin C can lighten up your skin. Basically, if you really want to clear up those spots, you are looking at several hundred dollars (around 100 for a session of microdermabrasion and around 300 for a photofacial). Believe me, I had brown splotches for five years and nothing worked but what I have mentioned. However, if it bothers you that much, then maybe the money won't matter. Once they fade, your dermatologist or skin care person can help you with a regimen to keep them from coming back and preventative products. Good luck to you!
