I m 14 years old and have a combination skin. my complexion is wheatish fair. i m worried about my skin as many girls in my class have started getting pimples which look horrible.

My doctor says I should tough it out. Is there no more serious effect from the swelling? I don't want to put up with this, and find out in a year from now that I have to have my foot cut off!

Is it normal to have a blood glucose level (in mmol/L) of around 7.0? Sometimes it goes down to 2.0-3.0, but I've only been measuring it for 2 days, and this is while I'm on holiday, relaxing and having plenty of food.

I don't know if I'm diabetic or not, I have to do more tests, but wanted to also monitor myself while waiting...

My friend suffers really bad now and again with acid in his stomach, to the extent it makes him sick. He has had it looked at and the doctor said there is nothing seriously wrong but when he suffers....boy he suffers. Any ideas how to ease it without medication as such please. Thanks you guys.

My 77 year old husband went into to hospital (private) in June to have a Knee replacement. 6weeks 5days and 3 trips to the theatre later he came home. Yes he had contracted Golden Staph. He has lost 13kgs because he doesn't feel like eating. He is now on two very very strong antibotics which we have been told could be for 2-3 years, but as a side effect has a very nasty/itchy rash from neck to groin. We have tried Pine Tar, metho, oitments from our own doctor and from a Skin Specialist nothing takes the itch away for more than 2 hours. We have even tried his own urine. Anyone got any old fashion remedies? We will try anything within reason.

I was diagnosed with genital warts a year ago. I've had them treated. I am now with a new guy and was wondering if I can give him the virus just by him touching me down there. We aren't having sex and he isn't touching the infected area with him penis. I just want to be safe so he doesn't get the virus but am also scared to tell him that i've had warts before.

Sometimes I have a rush of energy that will last for hours and other times I will feel completely drained and depressed. I am 21 years old and this has been effecting me for over 5 years now including school, work, sleep and relationships. Could this be a sign of diabetes? If so, where do I go to get myself checked out?

I went to a doctor to check some moles on my back. He said because you have a few see a skin specialist. That one you sterched the skin and put a bandaid on it. After he finished looking at my back he said you have one there (breast) And put his hand over it.

I have a daughter that is 11. she has trichotillomania, and has had since she was 1. i am needing to know wat other mothers do for their kids that pull their hair? it is very frusterating having a daughter with bald spots all over her head. we have tried gloves, hats, changing the diet, but nothing works. she only does it at night, but here lately it is getting worse. i would like to know if anyone out there has found a way to comtrol it with out the dr perscribing meds. any suggestions appriciated

I noticed a small hard bump (raised and colorless) under my arm last month and it has gotten larger. It is not that big but it is now about 1 cm and oval shaped. It doesn't hurt at all but friends have told me that it could be a swollen lymph node. They also suggested I look at breast cancer websites and look for other symptoms like changes in the breast and nipple, but there are no changes or lumps. What do you think this is and do you think it will go away by itself?
