Does the thing that you use to scan stuff with at stores cause cancer?

You know that thing that shoots out a red light and reads the UPC code?

mmm? who knows what causes cancer really. If the scan causes cancer, which has passed my mind as i am a shop assistant, wonder if mobile phones or alarm clocks do? Or wonder if just being in a shop with annoying customers give you cancer?

The red light is a laser.

Excessive exposure might cause cancer, but would probably burn you before that.

Think about it, that would be MASSIVE exposure!!!

If you don't use one for a sun lamp you should be fine!
