I have had random bouts of painless throbbing in the right side of my head, about two inches above my ear for a few months now. It's always the same spot, but it happens occasionally.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

My question is for anyone who has had to live with hypothyroidism; were you ever doing something and all of the sudden your energy took a nose dive, you started talking like you were very tired, and you starting yawning a lot? I was recently diagnosed with the this disorder and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced a symptom like mine.

I have just been diagnosed with Labrynthitis, and I was wondering what the rule of thumb was for working out with this condiditon. I am very physically active (ie. martial arts and wieght training) and would like to remain so. I dont want my labrynthits to completely take over my life, but i dont want to harm myself further, by being uninformed either.

I had the first of 8 treatments last week. I was givin cytoxin and adrmicin ( spelling sorry ). The side effects hit me hard. Even after all the nausua medication ( everything they had ) nothing worked. It was four days before I could eat or even hold water down. I ended up in the hospital for days...the doctor gave me more meds and nothing helped. To make is worse I had nothing to get sick with and was having dry heaves...later I couldnt go to the restroom and was backed up from that also.
Even after I mean the top meds for nausau I was still so sick I couldnt move.
My cycles of chemo will be every three weeks...next week I go in again. Is there anything I can take that will help me with my nasua...

Is skin cancer is only caused by being OVEREXPOSED to the UV rays? For instance, you won't get skin cancer as long as you moderate your exposure to the sun...for example: if I go to a tanning salon only once a month, then I'm not at risk.

My mom has been fighting cancer for quite a long time now, originally diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000.Since then,it spread to her lungs in 2005 and her hip bone just this past winter. She did intense radiation in March and was put on stronger chemo drugs to fight it.(Has been on chemo, period, every week for 2 years straight now.)About a month ago,her right leg started hurting pretty badly. Her doctor said it was her sciatic nerve and was given everything from narcotic skin patches to muscle relaxers to help with the pain, along with physical therapy. It's been a month and the pain is worse than ever, limiting her to all but complete bedrest. She insists it is arthritus or a disc in her back giving her trouble, but my sister and I are afraid the cancer has spread to her spine. She cannot stand or sit in a chair for more than 2 minutes at a time, and has to lay flat on her back in order for the pain to be bareable. The pain in her hip was never this severe,so I am not sure what is wrong...

Last year I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and during that following may I took Chemotherapy and Radiation. Its been a stressful year but I managed to get through. Right now I'm getting better, my hair grew back and everything. But I was wondering if anybody knows any good natural medicine or good things I can try out to feel better, get more white blood cells to help fight against other horrible things, or overall anything that you think a person who's been and is fighting cancer can take. It would be a great help. Thanks.

I have these red scaly bumps and rash on my elbows and then noticed it on my knuckles. Now I find 3 more bumps on the side of my right wrist. This has gotten much worse in the past 3 days, seems like its spreading. I only really noticed the problem over a week ago. It itches like hell. what does this sound like? Does it spread? because it seems its spreading on my body. This really sucks.

Adults,My doctor recently notified me that I had a low grain hpv strand, which I will be getting monitored every 6 months. The news came as a shock seeing how I think I got it from my first. However, i think I may have transferred it to my 2nd b/f and as a result he got genital warts yet the dr. results say that my strain is only causing displasia in me and not warts. As confusing as this is to me, Ive come to terms with it and decided to live a celibate lifestyle. However, I can not help but feel depressed and unworthy that I may have "destroyed" someones life. My problem comes because a long time friend is intrested in me, but does not know what is going on with my health. We've talked about becoming serious and dating, but im not sure how he would take the fact that i have hpv and chose to be celibate. im not saying that he would dump me because he is a wonderful man, but i know this would affect our future and i just need advice and possibly a help line where i can get counseling.

Ok i had my appendix out. And they gave me morphine, Only like four times. I got very sick in the stomach and stuff a few days home from the hospital. I went to the doctor and they suspect a few different things. I was just wondering if it was possible to have withdrawal symptoms if it was your first time getting morphine and if you didn't have very much. Did anyone else get withdrawal symptons from the morphione?
