Ok i had my appendix out. And they gave me morphine, Only like four times. I got very sick in the stomach and stuff a few days home from the hospital. I went to the doctor and they suspect a few different things. I was just wondering if it was possible to have withdrawal symptoms if it was your first time getting morphine and if you didn't have very much. Did anyone else get withdrawal symptons from the morphione?

You should not have withdrawal symptoms from just 4 doses of morphine! A lot of people are sensitive to different drugs and can have problems such as nausea/vomiting, sedation(some have hyperactivity),itching,etc. There is no way for you to have withdrawal with that amount. If you were on morphine for a long period of time(several weeks and up) then the body gets used to having it and you do not need to stop taking it 'cold turkey'. That will defiantly cause the body to have withdrawal symptoms and make you wish you were dead. Not a very good feeling at all! Yes. Headache, nausea, muscle cramps. It will go away after about a week. Your doctor probably prescribed another medication to ease you off.
