I have candida and get UTI (urinary tract infection) often. Candida is basically a yeast infection, this lives off things like sugar and bread. The more refined foods that I eat, the worse my thrush gets. Candida isn't something too bad though. I suggest: 1. Call your daughters doctor and ask him/her what he/she thinks you should do. 2.Visit your gynae and check that you don't have Candida as well, and if you do don't stress a few changes in the way you eat can get rid of it.
Hope I was some help.

Candida is a type of yeast. The word pseudohyphae is just a term to describe the way the cells of the yeast are arranged.

Your daughter has a urinary tract infection with bacteria and yeast...make sure she is wiping properly (front to back) and if these are recurring, you might want to have her checked for diabetes as the excess sugar predisposes someone to both yeast overgrowth and bacterial infections or for malformations of the urinary system.
This website has some good info:

Hope she feels better soon!

It's a basic yeast infection, that's all, most young girls get this. You have to keep her clean. A lot of this comes from playing in the tub to long, hot water and all this.
