After taking the much controversial acne drug "accutane" I saw stunning results in the clearness of my skin, but a noticeable problem with the way I was swllowing food. It gradually became more hard to keep food down and I was becoming very concerned. After getting an endoscopy done the doctor told me that my esophogus did not need stretching and nothing was wrong from what he saw. He prescribed me a drug called "protonix" which I take once every morning. He told me he thinks im not creating enough acid. Well I have been taking it for about two weeks and I have not seen any improvement at all. Its been months since I remember eating a meal or let alone any type of food or liquid (even water seems to get stuck) without having to gag myself so I dont choke. Im a 16 year old male and I weigh about 125 pounds. I know this isnt healthy for me and I am becoming very concerned.
I think my mom is going to try to get me in with a gastronomist. Im open to anything at this point. Please help!

Most recently I changed over my basil insulin from Humilin N to Lantus. I currently take 16 units of Lantus at bedtime (11 PM) and when I wake up in the morning my sugars are almost to same as when i fell asleep. The problem occurs after I eat my breakfast. I eat the same thing as always for my breakfast which is a 1 Cup and a Half of Organic cereal which has alot of fibre with soy milk. When I go to test my sugars about 2 1/2 later i've been getting highs of about 12 - 14 mmoll. For this breakfast i take about 4 units of Humalog. I'm just wondering what is causing this....Is it because im not getting enough basal insulin at bedtime, I cant figure out why this is happening.

Hi all
I am a 20 year old male. I attended an all day outdoor music festival this past Saturday and got a regular sunburn (red skin), even though I applied an SPF 30 sunscreen twice, once at the begining of the show, and again at the middle of the show. However, I was required to push carts outside for my job for two straight hours in the burning sun (It was more than 90 degrees in my estimate) two days after the music festival. Doing this caused thin wrinkles to appear on my forehead, and made my forehead feel very leathery. The rest of my body looks and feels normal. I usually stay indoors, but I usually retain a light dark complexion (I am Asian). I do, however, have dry skin. What should I do to get my forehead normal again? Are there any treatments that I can apply? Will my forehead be permanently wrinkled? Or should I just wait for my skin to shed? Will my forehead ever return to its normal condition? Please help!

When I walk, I feel off balance, and I have this weird "weak" feeling in my brain. Like, I've lost some muscle control in my body. I can't describe it. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, how long has it lasted?

I have very moderate sunburn on my arms, shoulders, back and belly. How do I make it stop hurting so I can sleep at night?

Also, how long does it take for the sunburn's pain to go away? How about redness?

1. my mom only done it once (by my dad of course) only for me to be born. I was taking a shower and I accidently slipped and my face went to her wet panties, because it got wet by water and the pantys was just took off when she took a shower like 5 hours ago and still wet.. Would I get any illness or HIV from this or is it because im her son and I got her blood that I wouldn't need to worry about that?

2. I was baby sitting this annoying little brat around 6 years old of age. I told him to go to the washroom and wash his hands... When I checked he ends up splashing pee on my face T_T would I get any virus out of this such as more risk of HIV... from the pee and the toilet water... I know the kid is young and oviously he isn't gonnna do sex but he's so bratty that he touch his ding dong and quickly wipes it in my face... I called his mother.. he got into big trouble

Answer it please I'm already paranoid enough getting viruses....

My mom had a needle Biopsy done on a tumor and the results showed that it was cancer. Then she had surgery to get the tumor removed, they did test on the tumor and said it was NOT cancer. Are biopsies accurate?

I keep telling myself that it is probelly nothing but then part of me thinks that it could be something serious like cancer.....can anyone give me some advice! Hello, I am a 17 year old guy and I have been dealing with acid reflux for around 14 years. The main symptom I always dealt with was regurgitation of my food from the stomach into my mouth. I taken medications over the years such as prevacid, nexium, pepcid, zantac (which I take now), etc. Zantac helps a little bit, but the food still wants to come up. The latest problem I have encountered was heartburn (which I never had) and acid. I was wondering if anyone had problems that are similiar to mine or any good advice. Thanks for the support.

I use to have great skin but during my teenage years, I started to have really really bad acne. Even though now my acne is cleared up and under control. My skin looks horrible, i just want to stay at home. I now have acne scars, enlarged pores, rough skin, ungly uneven skin tone. Is there a laser that can treat my problem? what is it called and will it work? Thanks so much!
