A lot of people will disagree with me and say to go to a doctor, but I use a pumice gently . Then I moisturize well with either a cream made to soften overnight or even Vaseline. After you moisturizing, I always wear sox for at last an hour or so .Overnight is the best.
Be careful with the pumice. Always watch what you are doing and make sure you don't go deep. Just enough to soften it up.
If you have nuropathy [ sp? ], do not do it alone. You may need a doctor for that.
Good luck

my wife is a diabetic so i know what you mean. she has a number of foot creams and lotions we put on her feet. but lately we've been drinking this mangosteen based juice. this stuff is a godsend. before we were both tired all the time, she complained about it being cold, believe that when it's like 90 degrees outside. but now she hasn't even checked her blood sugar in 2 weeks. and is energetic and now that you mention it her feet aren't dry anymore, I can give you the website you can do your own research on mangosteen juices, I liked it so much i became an on-line distributor If it helps your health isn't it worth a try money back guarantee. check it out, some people are getting off of insulin because of this stuff

One of the best things you can use can be bought over the counter in most drug stores. It is a very old ointment called 'Bag Balm' because it was used in olden days on the teats of cows that were milked by hand. It is also one of the least expensive treatments you can buy and a little goes a long way.

I use Cornhusker's Lotion. It works great. It's really slimy and feels weird but once it dries, it helps my skin feel so much better. Thanks to the Cornhuskers, the cracks on my feet healed and my skin is now smooth and soft.
Terrific stuff!!

Maybe I'm outta the loop, but what does being diabetic have anything to do with it? Anyway, use something like "udderly smooth" it's the only thing that's worked for me.
