We got our 2 cats together when it seemed she had become immune to a friend or ours cat. She is OK during work days but on weekends when she is home all day, she is constantly sneezing and sniffing. She does take prescription Allegra for allergies and we have an air purifier in the bedroom which helps some, but does anybody have experience with allergy shots? How often do you go? How much does it cost? How effective are they? Thanks everyone....I thought about getting her to try Zyrtec next, any other pills work for you?

Does Mitral Valve Prolapse ALWAYS cause an abnormal heart sound, or a clicking sound when the doctor uses a stethoscope? And, is it ALWAYS present on an echocardiogram? I ask because I have a lot of the symptoms of MVP, but, I have had a couple different echocardiograms all of which appeared normal. AND, I've had a stethoscope to my heart a LOT, and nothing has ever been heard. PLUS, I had a cardiologist suspect a PFO (hole in heart), so he went INSIDE of my heart through my groin area to check and said that my heart looked fine. I guess he would have seen if I had MVP, correct?

I found it very disrespectful how Oprah did Ice Cube and Ludacris. They were supposed to be interviewed as actors for "Barbershop" and "Crash" and instead she bashed their music. Ice Cube is not the same jheri curl wearing gangbanger he used to be. He's a mature, educated businessman with a family. Does ANYone in that age group support hip hop? Not all songs are bad. I know I shouldn't care but it's frustrating.

ive had this for over a year, balds spots come and go, caused by small, puss filled bumps. I went to the dermatologists and she insisted that it was FUNGUS. So she prescribed me LAMISIL. Ive been taking it for like a month now and it just doesnt seem like its getting better. Bumps are still there, when i cut my hair short the bald spots are still there. Im getting so sick of this!!!! Ive dealt with this for over a year and i work in the sales field dealing with people everyday!! Now this is costing me now over $400 to get to the point i am right now. So obviously the lamisil isnt working!! The only way i can really hide them is grow out my hair. Which is what im prob. gonna haveta do.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I had a medium heart attack 7 days ago, I was taken by ambulance to hospital, they found I had a main heart artery partially blocked sothey cleared it using a thromboloyte or something, anyway 3 days later Ithey perfomed an Angioplasty with stent placement. I have quit smoking immediately, and am making radical changes to my lifestyle such as more excersise, healthier eating, losing weight and generally getting myself fitter. My cholestral is 3.4, my BP is 120/80, (always has been) I am 55 years old. Is it possible/likely for me to be able to lead a normal life and live for many years to come if I follow the doctors reccomendations, or am I just going to drop dead in a few weeks time. Sorry to put it so blunly but to be honest I can't think of any other way.
I would appreciate honest and blunt to the point answers please, I would prefer to know what my prognosis is.
thanks
Roger

I accidentally spilt some boiling hot water on my chest when I was 10. I didn't receive help for it because I would've gotten in trouble.
Now i'm in my twenties and there is a dark visible scar the size of a quarter on my chest. It's starting to become a nuisance especially during the summer time when it darkens up and my wardrobe is limited. It shows when I wear halter tops, v necks etc. THe only thing to cover it right now is putting foundation on my chest. Is there any other way to reduce the appearance?

Johns Hopkins has recently sent this Memo out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well.
Dioxin chemicals causes cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital, was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us.

My teacher wanted us to find out more about asthma. After I found out what it really was, I'm really worried it will happen to me. Well, I'm thirteen and never had asthma. Will I still get asthma? My mom told me I had turned blue while I was a baby but was treated. Will there be anymore problems in my health now and in my future?

I can't remember what my dermatoligist said about mosturizers so I am asking you guys. So, can i moisturize my face while taking accutane so it doesn't look so dry?
