I have HPV and when my pap smear results came in they were a little irregular. Is this normal for a person who has HPV? (This was my first pap since I was diagnosed) Should I be worried about anything being cancerous? (Oh, dear... ]:) My doctor said to not worry about it because it is probably irregular just because of the virus. But to me doctors just say things like that so you don't go crazy.

Has anyone been through this?

No direah, no vomiting, no neausia. I haven't traveled, been around any reptiles, or been anywhere I can think of where I might have been cross-contaminated by incorrectly prepared chicken or eggs or sprouts etc.

I only went into the doctor in the first place because I had a MILD urinary tract infection. Now I'm getting calls from my doctor AND the California State Health Department who are BOTH wanting to run all these tests and *@#$. These tests consist of numberous visits to various offices in order to take the UTTERLY embarrassing stool and urine samples.

After showing no signs what so ever is it REALLY necessary? Did I mention that this was about TWO weeks ago? and they're JUST NOW calling me all paranoid I'm going to spread it.... even though the incubation period for contamination of others from myself is long gone. I just think this is all paranoid, pointless, and over compensation. Should I really bother running through this battery of tests?

I am aged 67 years and suffering from diabetics since 10 years. The blood sugar is under control.I am a pure vegetarian and following the diet of diabetic patients.I felt loss of senses to my right leg thumb in the year 1996.Since then slowly it has occupied my both feet and now I lost senses upto knees. I am unable to walk bare footed even on sand bed.I feel as if I am walking on thick foam bed when I walk in my home on ceramic tiled floor.I affraid to go to toilet, where my leg slips always.I cannot wash my face with soap with both hands.I feel reeling sensation in my head. So,I wash with one hand and with other hand I grip some handle tight. If it happen that I put my foot on a small particle of 2mm unconsciously, I collapse on ground.I am regularly taking diabetic medicines. One tablet Glynase before food and one tablet Glyciphage after food, three times daily. Both my legs are paining and I am unable to sleep in nights.I have attended many conferences. They said it cannot be cured.

I am trying so hard not to catch it. She has it everywhere-it's disgusting! I never had it in my life, so I am extremely prone to catching it. I am not going near her, touching anything she touched, using clorox wipes everywhere, and keeping the window open. I sleep in the same room as her! Yikes! I fear what I am doing is not enough! Advice anyone?

I just need any idea. I am not asking for an actual diagnosis as I realize there is no way that can happen online.

I took my 10.5 daughter to the ped today, and he didn't even suggest anything, just referred her to someone else, and we are waiting on an appointment. So I am getting worrried and if anyone has any experience with this, I would appreciate some insight.

She has dropped from 50th percentile to 10th, is probably anemic, sleeping too much, refusing milk and wanting water, and MAY have a heart murmur (although I highly doubt that is related). This has been verrrry slowly building for the last 2 months, but has really gotten worse over the last two weeks. The last two days, her stools are VERY runny and acidic (proabably from lack of iron, but I mention it just in case).

I know it could be any number of things, but like I said, I am just worried.

A while back I was dating this guy and I fooled around with him after we had been together for a while, I had always wanted him..ok...it had been like 2 yrs!....(fingered me and ate me). At the time I did not know that he had herpes. Is it possible to spread herpes through oral sex even though he does not have herpes in his mouth and just his genitals? I mean could it be possible that he spread it to me If I never came in contact with his genitals and just his mouth, which he did not have hereps in? Or once you have herpes you have it everywhere?..OMG....im paranoid, someone help!

I have been in a monogamous relationship with my spouse for over 15 years. Recently we both tested positive for recent exposure to HSV2. Obviously, I suspect my husband. He denies wrong doing. The only innocent explaination is my brother, who is HSV2 positive. He sometimes scratches my back for me until it very red and even bleeding. Recently, he was complaining of numbness tingling in his hands and pain and muscle weakness. I asked him to go to the Doc, but he refuses. He has this same condition at least once or twice a year. It lasts for a couple of weeks or more and then goes away. Is it likely that he could have infected me when he scratched my back? The hand doesn't have blisters or bumps on it. It just has tingling numbness and pain. Also, please explain how high titer count proves recent 1st time exposure. Thanks.

I was recently diagnosed with hypertension, and I'm on a couple of prescription medications now-- I'm not yet 30 years old, I have no family history of hypertension, I'm not overweight, I don't smoke, drink or do drugs, I stay away from fast food and high fat, salty food in general, and I'm getting out and exercising more. Any suggestions on anything else I can be doing? Or any thoughts on why I might have high blood pressure? My doctors seem to be stumped. Thanks!

his entire muzzle is bigger than normal and he's got these bumps that were first on his leg, but they disappear and are now on his back. I'm thinking he was stung by something or he ate a poisonous lizard or something. This is down in the southwest.

I believe I have laryngitis. I have been reading online and it does not look like there is anything the doctor can give me. My throat has been very tender and other than aspirin and aleve I have not been able to stop the pain. I am trying to use home remedies to help sooth the pain rather than taking medication. Can anyone help??
