Are there any medics out there who can help me understand what is happening. Kept in hospital (3rd time in a month) for normal attack of atrial fibrillation - heart beat 129 (normal rate 50); pain in jaw (lack of oxygen), low potassium. Given oxygen and potassium. Monitored remotely all night. Doctor then said my Afib is changing - now in clusters and will be more frequent. Discovered I had been in sinus rhythm all night - regular beats of 119 slowing down. In the morning Consultant said I had angina - this has been queried before.. Does heart beat increase this much with angina? Can Afib be regular? How can I play table tennis for 1 1/2 hours with no effect and walk my dog for 45 minutes ditto? Awaiting nuclear scan but will be at least another 6 months. Am at the high end of medication - beta blockers, anti-arrhythmic + warfarin so only beta blockers increased- now 5mg night and morning. I am an active 70 yr old. I have a GTN spray but never need to use it except when in A fib.

long story and limited space, so i'll try to keep this brief.

- Motion sickness since Aug. '06, mostly in the car, bus was ok, Sept., woke up with vertigo
- Went to doc, got anti-nausea meds, didn't help, switched to ginger root, that seemed to control the motion sickness
- April '07, motion sickness worse, car, bus, even elevator, didn't go out much, limited to walking everywhere
- May, pain, pressure, tinnitus in my right ear, which is weird since I was born completely deaf in that ear (left ear is normal)
- Woke up with vertigo twice, 2 weeks apart
- Braved the bus and went back to see my doc, he gave me a presciption for betahistine, which I've been taking for the past 10 days.
- Bus ride home from that trip was bad, vision loss, almost passed out, haven't traveled since
- Since that ride, 10 days ago, the vertigo has been non stop, from everday to every 30 sec.,keep waiting for meds to work but they haven't yet.
- some double vision, eyes rolling

My friend's dad got infected by HIV a year ago thru exposed cuts. Then the mother got infected a week ago by using her dad's shaving blades. I dunno if she is infected. I love her as my friend and i hope that she didnt but I'm aware of my health too. I'm scared of getting infected. Is there anyways I could avoid n prevent myself from getting it? 1 thing for sure is that i dont want to stop hanging out with her!

Two days ago my vagina was itching really bad and I went to take a shower but I think I scratched it when I was sleeping. And the next morning I woke up and went to go pee and felt something like a blister on the inside lip of my vagina. It was really painful and when I touched it I felt a burning sensation and it hurt so bad. But when I pee it doesn't hurt it just hurt when I try to wipe it or wash it in the showers. I've looked around for symptoms like this and found a lot had to do with herpes. Can someone give me some answers? The other day I just had a HIV test and it came out negative but my urine sample as been sent to the lab I'll get results soon but I can't wait that long. Has anyone been through this before?

For a couple of days now it seems like I cant breathe naturally. It may sound weird but It seems like I can't breathe without me thinking about it. Its like I can't breathe without me controlling it. Grandmother has shingles, she lives with my inlaws and we are over there several times a week. I think all of our children are small enough that they have received the chickenpox vaccine. Oldest child is 8 and had chickenpox under the age of 2. How can shingles be transmitted? Can they ONLY be transmitted to people who have NOT had chickenpox? Serious responses only please. Hi, I recently noticed my abdomen has a pulse (not just when lying down) and im not skinny. I am only 18, unbelieveably low risk for an aneurysm (Normal cholest., no heraditary diseases, no trauma, ETC.) Theres basicly almost no chance I can have one. Yet I suffer from bad health anxiety, so I am terrified.,


About 3 months ago I had an untrasound of my heart done (normal) along with a stress test. Would they have scanned my aorta quickly to check for an aneurysm? I dont remember the event too well. Im not too sure if they did. Is this a procedure they do when performaing an ultrasound?
