An endocrinologist. It feels like your thyroid gland won't be producing adequate hormone. A blood try will tell. the 1st blood try may be performed via any surgeon...however the professional is an endocrinologist.

In the UK we would see our doc where a blood test would be done first .
If there was a prob then an appointment would be made for us at the local hospital.
