If I have no symptoms at the moment, am fairly sure there is no shedding and always use a condom for any sexual activity including oral, and take Valtrex as a preventive measure.

I also abstane completely during outbreaks.

I have read that under the above conditions it would be difficult for me to pass it on to a female.

And I have also read that with proper management, dicordant couples can coexist without coinfection if every precautions are taken.

In that case, would it be disshonest not to tell my new partner right away?

I feel that telling her at the beginning might scare her off for nothing, something that could develop in a long lasting relationship and maybe marriage?

Any one out there that the male has herpes but his girlfriend never caught it from him using precautions?

I feel very bad and scared about my future, this is bad timing as I am now 37 and am starting to think about starting a familly...;(

Is there anything I can take in pregnancy for my allergies? My Doctor says no, as allergy meds have steriods in them which could damage the baby. I've tried Vicks jelly (rub it on your chest) for my congestion which didn't work. I can hardly breathe, can't stop sneezing and wheezing, and my nose is running constantly. Sorry if I mispell some things, but is there a solution to stopping dandruff??? Any specific shampoo because even after taking a shower, the dandruf comes back. What is the youngest age to develop breast cancer, or any cancer of any type and tumors run in the family, but cancer is has a quite a bit of distance in our family generations, but I am 17 and I am worried that I might have a tumor, because my breast hurts and I'm not sure how to feel a lump. are out there makeit harder for me to breathe and I can't get any relief if an attack starts I just have to sit and try to relax and breathe slowly and as deeply as possible,anyone know of an inhaler or other thing that might help? Sitting unable to breathe is a very scary place to be ,you think ,feel and know that every breath is your last and it causes a panic situation in the mind... scary!!!!

My wife of 13 years just found out she has HPV. She had a pap test a year ago and it showed negitive. She had another a week ago and it showed positive. I have not been with anyone else in 13 years, is she, or has she recentaly cheated? I know this is sexualy transmitted. please helppp! let me describe to you what a horrible image i see in the mirror.. the top of my foreheada is really red and my cheeks are full of acne scars... its horrible.. then i have these really tiny little massive pimples on my forehead... and today i went to the doctor.. and asked her if there are any treatments i can use for acne scars and this is what she told me: NO, THERE AR ENO TREATMENTS. that just shattered my heart into pieces. i was fooling around with one of those doll boots and i made it stick to my face in several places and now i have 3 perfect circles of broken blood vessels and i would like to know the healing time. it is now 11 pm and i have school in the morning. It can happen several times a day sometimes and other days it does not happen at all. I panic and think it might be small heart attacks I am having and wait for a big one to hit. Then it passes and I am fine again. I dont feel unwell or anything but just wondered if anyone else has had this same problem and if so what it is or at least have an idea what it could be.

So i'm really interested in blood sugar and diabetes and my diabetes Type II runs in my family. I've been taking my blood sugar about once a day for the last 3 weeks. The lowest I have been was 76 and the highest was 157 (this was about 4 hours after supper one night and I really wasn't feeling well). I just took my blood sugar because I'm really not feeling well (tiredness, nausea, headache, and a few other things) and it was 149. Could this be a reason I'm not feeling well? I've taken it a few days 4 times a day and my blood sugar is kind of strange because it is low in the morning (so that's not weird) then goes high before lunch and supper then kind of drops off. Could I have pre-diabetes?

The crazy thing is this. I've only ever been with my girlfriend and she's only ever been with me. So that rules out an STD cause but still there is a burning sensation. No discharge so it makes me think it's something else. However did the test for a UTI about an hr and a half after the pain first hit and it came up negative. Does it take a while for the results to show?
