A couple gazillion.

I don't take this as a joke. A few years ago, on a Saturday afternoon, no problems. About 6Pm my wife said, one side of my face was red, like I was sitting in the sun and one side of my face got a tan. I though " so??"
900 am, Sunday morn, from my ear to my eye to my chin, was tomato red-.
6PM Sun night I am n the hospital, on IV antibiotics. Cellulitis!
Since it was March, the doctor rules out an insect bite, and figured I cut myself shaving or scratched my face!!!!! He explained, on the skin there are strep and staph germs, I must have just cut myself a tiny bit and they got in, a cut not big enough to bleed, but just enough to let the bad guys in.
This is why., when you cut yourself, wash the wound with soap and water.

Cellulitus can be a big problem for the elderly and someone who has diabetes.
See this website. Very interesting.

PS I was out by Thurs morning, and on antibiotics for another week before it went away completely.
