I have food poisoning, am running a fever, am extremely weak and exhausted, haven't been able to hold any food or liquids down today, and I already show signs of dehydration.

I think I am going to become hypokalemic pretty soon but I can't drink or eat any fruit without losing it. Any idea how to get me back at normal levels again?

I'm doing a presentation on it, and I can't seem to find out the reasons why it's called like that. Sure, I know its mechanism, symptoms, etc., but why is the infarction compared to an attack, besides feeling like one?
Any answers with sources are welcome.

Hello, Im HIV posotive and have been since I was born, Im 13 and thinking of boys but If I get a boyfriend do I tell them im posotive straght away or not tell him at all or wait to tell him? If I tell him he might dump me or tell people that I didnt want to tell. He might be nasty to me or act wierd. There are alot of things to consider. Its also hard at my age cos they dont have online dating sites for teens that are posotive. Only for adults. I would quite like a boyfriend now but I dont know what to do.

Please give me senseble answers, Its not a joke.

Thank you!

I'm wondering what would be the most accurate, cheapest test to rule out brain cancer. The three I know of are PET,CAT, and MRI. With MRI being the most expensive I believe. Would a contrast agent be necessary to show possible tumors.

3 yrs ago I was feeling great until one night a lymph node in my neck swelled up pretty big. I had a lot of bloodwork and fecal occult and urinalysis done at a county health clinic. I've had an EKG,echocardiogram, lung xrays and a CAT of my neck with contrast. The CAT discovered "several slightly inlarged lymph nodes" and the lung x-ray found small peripheral blebs on my right lung apex (I read up on this and understand it pretty well).

My symptoms could indicate tumor. I get very lightheaded, weak, confused (can't find simple words in my head), and I get blurry vision slightly. Also my eyes have been horribly bloodshot this whole time. Marijuana intensified the feelings, so I quit almost 3 yrs ago. I'm 30, tall and skinny, and smoke for 16 yrs.

My doctor just told me that i have heterochromia(having a different eye color in each eye) my rigth eye is blue, and my left eye is green. I never noticed, i dont know why; but lately my friends noticed that my eyes are different. So i went to see doctor, and he told me; I never noticed because its not that rare as other cases in which people have one blue eye and the other one is brown. I just wanted to know if its bad to have heterochromia? or if it will damage me in some kind of way in the future?

Ox-LDL maybe more direct hit to health. How come they can provide the measured cholesterols and LDL but not this data. Low LDL doesnt mean low oxidation of LDL and vice versa. What are tools the lab need to measure ox-LDL?

I recently bought this "Concept XT Mood Lights" for my car, which runs through the car cigarette lighter. It was only after I brought it home that I read this small warning at the back saying "The use of this product is likely to cause exposure to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, and birth defects or other reproductive harm." Now it never occured to me that something like this would cause cancer. Can anyone tell me how this happens and is it because of the bulb or just coz its blue? Here is the item I bought. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MOOD-LIGHTS-SOFT-BLUE-ILLUMINATE-INTERIOR_W0QQitemZ190034138240QQcmdZViewItem

I mean like a completely safe liquid nitrogen but not nitrogen? Something that can help in, say, heat exhaustion? I would like to know about a chemical, not necessarily an organic, natural product.
