i am going thru breast cancer. my daughter is 10. is there a test to see if she carries the gene. as far as i know, breast cancer does not run in the family. what does this mean and what are the chances of my daughter developing breast cancer. thank you.

I went to a lot of doctors and they said I am having pyloric antrium inlammation. It makes me throw up whenever i eat. They gave me anti-inflammation and anti-acid med; however, I do not get any better. My question is what is the best way to treat pyloric antrium inflammation.

I am addicted to smoking! a few weeks ago I only smoked one here and there but now Im seriously addicted. I smoke one every hour almost. I am just so stressed. I am in the 8 the grade and my borthers are the ones who got me started. they are in high school and basically bribed to me to smoke. well, I just wanted to be different from my twin sister cause were indentical and I thought she would never pick up on smoking cause she's miss goody too shoes and she didnt so I saw we were different in some way. but now I realize it was stupid to do this!!!!!!!!!!!! and I dont want cancer or bad teeth or any heart problems but I CANT STOP! HOW CAN I STOP?

got my wisdom teeth pulled & cut out about 2 weeks ago. All 4. I got a really bad infection where a huge abscess grew in my neck and they had to drain it out. I was in the hospital for 5 days cause they had to put an IV antibiotic in my arm. Finally, i went home on oral top notch antibiotics. I had a tube left in my throat where the infection can drain and when it finally stopped, i had it removed. Then I had puss & blood coming out of my neck& its stopped last night. Now my chest is tight and myheart has been rapidly beating. I have no fever but i do have the chills. I am on hard core antibiotics. What do you think?

My son is four. He's been sick for 8 days now and his symptoms are not improving.

WE HAVE ALREADY SEEN A DOCTOR AND ARE GOING TO SEE ANOTHER ONE!!!!!!!!!! Doctor says he has a cold. Bullshit.

If you have any idea what could be causing this or have experienced this...please tell me!!

Today, he didn't even want to walk on his own and wanted to be carried.

My dad is 68 years old. He had brain hemorrhage 4 years ago and went under surgery. He was fully recovered. Since then he quit smoking and was on healthy diet and had regular exercise. His blood pressure and blood work have been normal. However, he just had a 2nd brain hemorrhage after 4 years from the 1st one. This one is minor than the previous but occurred at the same spot. His doctor can not diagnose the cause. Does anyone have any clue of the cause and treatment? Thank you.

My 76 year old father was recently diagnosed with CHF. He is to have "no salt" (at all) in his diet going forward. He lives alone and I'm having a hard time finding things NO salt to stalk on his shelves that are appetizing ..and most importantly that he can make himself (easily). Any ideas? Those things marked "low sodium" are no good - as they still have some level of salt in them. It's VERY hard finding anything for him with no salt at all. All suggestions would be most welcome!

I think I may have an STD, The reason I haven't gone to the clinic is because im afraid of what it may be. I haven't had sex with my boyfriend because I don't wanna put him at risk if their is a disease then I may have gotten it from a previous boyfriend. I have had bypass surgery, stents and lazerplasty but due to hereditary factors still continue to have blockages. I eat a fat free diet, take Omega three and eat a lot of fruit. I would be gratefull for any ideas that anyone out there has onthe subject.

im 48 yrs old and respect my health- ive vever had any stds or anything like it. every time i get close to a woman and things get frisky-i ask that we both go and get tested and let the fun begin!. they will then hate you for not just trustin them. go into the std section here and youll know why im so friggin careful. im a one woman kind of guy and am not going to expose myself to stuff that i can avoid. ill find that one special lady and have all the fun in the world-i am one of the horniest guys out there with the libido of a 20 yr old - and its hard[no pun intended] not caving in to temptation. is there anyone else out there that thinks like me or am i the lone friggin ranger or somethin!. are there women who think like i do on this subject - or am i just going to have to cave in and enjoy a great piece of *** like everyone else and risk it all ps-scary as hell!.

Hi i am 28 yr old male...I have staph infection in my scalp for about 5 yrs now. first it spread all over my scalp and now to my beard..I havent fallen sick in a major way (from some of the news reports that I read and i dont know how I got it) but I am very tired of having this infection around. There are just so many sores on my head and they are painful all the time. I cant work properly and cant study either, because Im in pain. Plus Im worried I will spread this to other people (you can only wash your hands so many times). I have gone to 6 dermatologists, 5 of them put me on tetracycline, but everytime I was done with my oral course, the infection would come back with a vengeance. The 6th doc put me on muciprocin, omicef and clindamycin, which helped for a month (it was the happiest month of my life), and these sores are back again....Im very depressed. I heard there is a new antibiotic called cubicin...is that any good? Please help. Thanks

and I have questions about his cholesterol readings. His total cholesterol was 193, which is good. The triglycerides were 243, and the VLDL was 49. Both of those were high. . However his hdl was 54 (good) and his ldl is 90 (good).... How can his total cholesterol be lower than the triglycerides? I looked on the AMA website and couldn't find what I am looking for.

Hi, Im a 27 yr old female..About 3 yrs ago i woke up with hives...I did not change soaps or do anything different then i havent done all my life. The only thing that helps is Alegra but to me thats just a bandad.. I wondering what is causing this and what can i do to get rid of them 4 good? I have sen over 20 doctors and No one can figure this out... Im scared up and my skins ashy from itching so much. My fingers r in pain all the time from itching so much.. My 2 year old daughter has a rash. It is small red bumps. I haven't noticed her scratching them and she says she isn't itchy. I also asked if her belly or throat hurt snd she says no. I haven't used any new soaps lately for her or our clothes. She did eat peanut butter yesteday and I noticed the rash after her bath. She has ate peanut butter before and I don't recall any rash. Any ideas on what it could be? The doctor isn't avaliable until monday.
