Open sores is a very good sign of genital herpes. Are you in a lot of pain? Usually genital herpes causes a very distinctive pain.

Genital herpes causes large blister like sores. These sores can open and puss and then scab over.

It sounds like you should be checked out by a doctor as soon as possible. Good luck!

you could have herpes or a bartholin cyst or hair follicles that are infected or just a plain old everyday abscess. Don't let these people scare you. Most everything is fixable or treatable to the extent of controlling symptoms now a days. Go to a nurse practitioner or a doctor NOT an ER. Just make an appointment and go or go to a walk in clinic. Not an emergency as long as they are not painful. If painful go soon. No sex until you know what it is.
Herpes is little pustules that itch first, then appear as blisters then break open. Hurts like the devil when you pee... stings... then they clear up. They can break out again and again. HSV 1 is the oral type, HSV 2 is the genital type but they both can be both places. What does it mean if you have one or the other? HSV 1 doesn't break out as often as HSV 2. HSV 2 you have more frequent and more painful outbreaks. Have the health care provider do a type specific serologic test so see which type (if any) of herpes it is.

Good luck and God bless....

It means that if you don't go to the doctor and get yourself checked out, then if and when you have sex again, then you will give them whatever you got now and they are not going to be as complacent as you appear to be.
