My girlfriend says she has it, and more importantly, is it contagious?

It's not really a question, it's really a thank you. I am the mother of Laura W, the girl with lung cancer. I just thought you would like to know she passed away this morning. She left me some instructions and this is one of the things she wanted me to do. Again, thank you. Your support has been overwhelmingly supportive.

over 1month ago i started getting chest pains and strange vision everything seemed to be waving about a bit and i felt i was having a heart attack but went to hosptial and they did ecg and did not find any evidence of heart attack and said i probably had a panic attack. But the chest pain and vision change stayed and i also got cellulitis on my leg this was treated with antibiotics. Acouple of days later my chest pain subcided and my visioin was back to normal i assumed it was to do with the antibiotics. But then a day after i stoped taking the antibiotics my oringal symptoms returned. They are really disabling now and i am getting fast heartbeat that wakes me up after i hour of sleep then i cannot sleep. My vision is always wavey and i feel really tired fom the lack of sleep.The oringal doctor said i have a virus but its now been about 4and half weeks and i am still the same does anyone have answers because my doctor does not , doctors reply plzzz

my friend has a brain tumor and had 13weeks radiotheraphy which the doctors were hopefull would remove it, but it didnt. he now has started 6weeks of chemo, he has an injection once a week and takes 15 tablets per day...has anyone any information they can give me on this type of thing. he had a cousin who deid from a brain tumor a few years ago...the doctors say his is small about the size of a pea but it can not b surgicly removed..i would love to know a bit more about it but he doesnt really seem to know whats going on...please reply.

Its like most of the time if they go for a check or just for any reason and the doctor is always finding an Urine Tract Infection, Bladder Infection, or Yeast Infection. Why do some females gets it more than others?

I developed an acute sinusitus 2 days ago. I started a Z-pack yesterday. Last night I began to have epigastric cramping. No nausea or vomiting. I had a low grade fever of 99.8 (oral).Then this morning I rushed to brush my teeth because of this horrible taste in my mouth. I couldnt finish because I became very weak and short of breath. I had to sit on the floor and I hyperventilated for about 3 minutes. I'm having problems connecting the sinusitus, abdominal pain, fever, shortness of breath, hyperventilation, and near syncope to form a diagnosis. Does anyone have any idea whats going on. Please only answer if you have some medical experience.

I recently recieved an e-mail with about half a dozen newspaper clippings saying that talking on a cellular phone while it is charging can be hazardous to the brain and can lead to cancer.Is this true?It is the first time I have heard anything like this but i & a lot of people I know do it all the time.So I'm pretty worried.Some help would be much appreciated.

It is now 10:30pm Saturday
Symptoms
Thursday from 2pm
Bad diahrea, no solids at all, plus bowel lubricant (no, not lube used for anal sex) and cramps.
Friday
More diahrea, occurs 5 to 30mins after eating, worse cramps, mild nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and skin sensitivity (will be explained further)
Saturday
Same but worse. Got some imodium and most diahrea/cramps stopped. Extremely dizzy, nauseous, tired, sensitive, and weird temperature. Woke at noon, napped at 2pm, napped at 6pm, napped at 9:50pm for 30mins to an hour.

Skin Sensitivity: whenever i get sick, my skin becomes sensitive. Feels like someone softly caressing your arm, only it's much stronger and can be caused by breezes, and if touched by something stronger it hurts. Worst on back, which is where all the pain seems to shoot to.
Temp: I feel like my core is either hot or cold, and my skin is the opposite. People say I feel cold to touch.

Recently moved across state, fairly healthy diet. (lotsa fruit and veg)

My father took cortisone when he was prescribed it and he had very few asthma attacks after he took it, and twenty years later, he still has limited asthma attacks. I have bad asthma, and he doesn't know why people don't prescribe it anymore, and neither do I.

OK, guys & gals, this is very depressing and confusing to me. Here is what happened : An ex girlfriend called me saying she had an abnormal pap and found out she has high risk HPV. She has not had any other boy friends after me and we know for a fact that if she has HPV she had it when we were together. I might have given it to her or if she had it first and I didn't it is very likely that I have it too now.

What exactly am I going to do about my future relationships now ? I would never ever NOT tell a future partner that I am more than likely Human Pappiloma Virus positive. But I feel like 99.99% of the pople out there will dump me or never even start a relationship with me after I tell them. I wish there was a test for HPV for males, but there isn't.

So is my love life dead forever ? Will I ever be able to have a relationship and be able to have sex without infecting someone with an STD ?This is an awful situation.

Any ideas / comments / personal stories ?

I have a three year old daughter that has eczema. I've tried almost every product you can name. Elidel, hyrdocortizone, freederm, you name it, we've tried it. Nothing seems to help. She no longer itches the way that she used to, but the rashes are still there and itch occassionally. I know there's no cure, but I just need something that is going to give her some relief.

All the information that i know you can only get this with body fluid contact and the longest that it can be in the body is 30 days before it will show it self..so he can not tell me he got from a dirty bathroom are has has it in his body for up to 7yrs is this correct,and yes i have the symptoms now..i go to the doctors on monday. I know someone who has mono, and she says the doctors told her that it was STAGE 1 mono, whatever the heck that is and that it's not contagious. From my understanding of mono, any form is contagious. She says she got it from work and that she hasn't kissed anyone else. I talked to a nurse, and she said that it's very unlikely to get mono from just handling glass vials that were just made or from the dust from the glass. What's up people? Ya girl needs to know with the quickness!

My son has had a lump in his neck for 7 months now. Ive taken him to the doctors about 6 times he says there is nothing to worry about. My son has also been losing weight and is tired all the time and sweats alot at night. He suffers from adhd so is always on the go and used to have little sleep and was on medication to help him to sleep. Now he is going to sleep striaght away after school and doesnt need his medication and also going to sleep at school as well. His school have commented how calm and relaxed he since he gone back to school and that it too much of a change. He has just had a blood test and it came back that he is slighty anemic. My gp says everything is fine but im not sure should i ask for a second opinion and ask for an appointment to see what the lump is at the hospital
