There is no such thing.
OBGYN stands for Obstetrics and Gynecology. It's basically a women's doctor who deals with women things, like pap smears, STDs, pregnancy, etc.
There are many different viruses today. You're girlfriend may be talking about a viral STD or a different virus (chickenpox is a virus).
It sounds like you need to talk to your girlfriend again and clear this up a little.

OB/GYN pretty much means having to do with the female reproductive system. All STDs and some other diseases could be classified as OB/GYN viruses, so it's really impossible to tell without knowing specifically WHICH OB/GYN virus it is. I'd say it's probably likely that it is sexually transmittable, but don't quote me on that.

kinda sounds like you didn't listen, or she didn't give you all the info. if she has a virus, you need to ask which one, and listen when she answers. If her OB/Gyn told her she has one, then it is likely sexually transmitted, and you need to be tested immedeately! Also, abstinence until the test results are in is a really good idea. If you don't have it yet, you might catch it before the results are in and that would just suck! Sorry for your problems and good luck to you both!

I have never heard of an "OBGYN VIRUS" unless she is referring to warts or herpes. Yes, all viral and bacterial STD's are contagious.
