what type of bacteria can a human get from Discus fish?

I need something to wipe down leather sling, spanking benches and other surfaces TO PREVENT SPREADING INFECTION.

Please tell me the active ingredient of your suggestion, not just the brand name (I'm in Australia).

Also, can you think of anything else I might need for the party I may have forgotten??

Have already got the obvious things:
- gloves
- condoms and dental dams
- lube
- sharps bin
- paper towel
- snacks and drinks
- candles, pegs, rope
- anti-bacterial handwash
- towels
- bins
??????

hey am a 4th year medical student just started my clinical practic and realy anxious and want to ask about a case i met ..
the signes are facial swelling around the eyelid sever at morning and get better during the day and he takes lisinopril for a year else he is normal what do you think?

Hello,
I need your help, Could HIV transmit via washing hair in the barber-shop? I ask this because I always have my hair washed in the barber-shop, and the hair-maker washed and dry-massaged the man before me, then serviced me right away. WHen the hair-maker was washing my hair, he said that that man had a very serious wound on his back. I am afraid that some blood maybe stuck on the hair-maker;s fingers and nails and passed HIV me via washin and massagin me...

Assuming that if some blood stuck to the hair-maker's fingers-nails, the time for the virus outside the body were a few seconds, then it contacted my head, my head was scratchy-bleeidin, this a risk of gettin HIV ?Can the short-exposure to the air kill off HIV ? Only few seconds can kill off HIV in the air ?

since i can remember i have had this, its right inside my ear down to my throat, my ears are clean been docs and he thought i was being dramatic. my sister is the same, what could it be it drives me mad, i have to make this weird throat noise to scratch it and shove cottton buds down my ears all the time. my sis went to the docs too and they said it could be dried up soap and shampoo, but surely everyone gets that and not everyone has these annoying itchy ears.

They kinda look like zits or pimples -but they are Hard little kernel looking things - I know this is gross - but when i've picked at them I have to dig them out of my pores !!! They are always on my legs and sometimes on my butt -LOL
I've always wondered what they were - I think it may just be caused by severe dry skin -but I dont know - Does anyone else get these weird Bumps ??? & Do you know what makes them go away - i cant afford a Dermatologist :(

my child 3years &2 months old he got primary complex his waight is 12Kg Drs. given medicine 1. rimactazid disped one tablet per day on before food and 2. Adliv 1/2 morning and night 1/2 table spoon is it ok and also Dr told don't give citrus fruts like graps orange starberry and also don't take Tamarind in food .
1. please give any other food habit for next 9 month
2. he has to take 9month for medicine any side effect will come in later stage .

I can peel it off like sunburnt skin but my skin would feel raw after that. Sometimes, it goes away for a while (without medication) but it always comes back. The doc says its some kinda eczema but even the doctor's cream doesn't help. Any ideas??

My 21 month old niece just had open heart surgery about 2 weeks ago. She had a full heart repair done. We almost lost her but are now taking very small baby steps torwards getting better. The question I have is she has these smooth, flat red spots on her hands. She is getting more as time goes on. The ones on her thumbs by her nails have a purple tint to them. They aren't oozing anything. They aren't dry. Her doctors don't know what they are from and I can't find anything on the web. I am just looking for possible causes. So what could this possibly be?

I used to be addicted to narcotic painkillers, many of which contained acetaminophen or ibuprofen along with the narcotic. I was a drinker too. It's been about 3 years since I stopped. They always check my liver enzymes at the doctor. They were elevated, but came back down to normal shortly after I got clean. I don't think they ever checked my kidneys though. What would be some signs that I have any kidney damage?

I have ibs i basically need it all the time because every time I stop then its the same old situation .I cant work without.However I think it may be making sick as well.I have already been to the doctor he couldnt help me .Im just trying to find a way to not have to go so much that i cant work.
