Not wanting to question the other answers, I will tell you of a scientific finding. A new veterinary study of cryptobia iubilans infections in juvenile Discus has just been published in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medicine Association. This study was passed on to the American Medical Association and CDC in Atlanta.

The cryptobia iubilans is the most prevalent bacterium to be passed on to humans, through inhalation, penetration, and open wounds.

It is rare but you can contract fish tuberculosis, and wild discus could have various parasitic worms. Did a study about zoonosis when I was attached to CDC.
