Aromatase inhibitors are typically given to postmenopausal women to lower the amount of estrogen in their systems. GnRH-analogues (Wikipedia)
Tamoxifen is already widely used to prevent recurrence in women who have been treated for breast cancer. Many other newer hormonal agents, such as aromatase inhibitors and others, are being used after Tamoxifen is stopped, or even in place of Tamoxifen. For some women at very high risk of breast cancer, preventive use of these drugs may be appropriate. This should be discussed with a qualified physician.(MedlinePlus)

tamoxifen is the only one currently available for estrogen-receptor positive types of cancer.
Some women opt to have their ovaries removed and go on the aromatase inhibitors.

The drug Arimidex is supposed to be newer and better than the four others. It is has a slightly higher rate of survival. After reviewing the drug extensively, writing as you did on Yahoo Answers I determined the cost, side effects and percentages did not warrant the possible side effects of taking any of the hormone therapy drugs currently on the market. Good luck!
