I get that alot too. It could b edue to many reasons:

1. You may be developing a throat infection
2. There is wax developed there which is affecting ure ear.
3. Shampoo your using is not getting washed out properly which is leaving an itch.

I think doc could be right in saying soap and shampoo, I too get this from time to time and I think its an irritant to the skin inside the ear canal similar to eczema, try using cotton wool in your eyes when bathing and showering.

Since you say that it is deep down your throat that you feel itchiness and it is also deep inside your ears, I feel that you may have a problem at the passage from your ears to your throat. I would suggest that you see a E.N.T. (Ear, Nose and Throat) specialist who may be able to treat you and also your sister.

certain you need to bypass again to the physician or you would possibly want to do like mine grandmother did us have someone placed a cap finished of hydrogen peroxide in both ear only a cap finished for both side it fairly does artwork previous cures help extra the somethings docs do.

There's a better wax removal method than syringing (and it could be the wax that's causing the itching) - ask your doctor if you could have suction done. It's fast and painless.

dont stick cotton buds in your ears, you'll push wax further in. have you had your ears syringed?
