i had loads of peeling on the side of my nose and chin, where i'd always had an oily tzone i just woke up one day with really thick skin peeling off it was gross i thought my nose was going to fall off, the dermatologist said i looked like rudolph and that i hd rosacea and prescriped rosacream and it helped the peeling tremendously. he also gave me something called locoid something which was very greasy and really moisturized that area, good luck to you!!
ps my nose is still really red though.
sandi r u talking about the orange one bcuz that one's great, everything else i tried really burned bcuz my skin was so raw from all the peeling, this one hurt a little bit at first but i came to depend on it until the dermatologist finally accepted new patients.

Check out www.hufa.org - the yeast link. If it is eczema, psoriasis or other skin conditions, I may be due to a candida fungus (yeast) infection on the surface.
Try an antifungal cream, like Lotrimin or generic clotrimazole, for a change. If it clears up and then comes back, it may be due to a systemic yeast syndrome. I am working on getting mine under control, now.

Mary Kay has this great hydrating cream. Its very thick and what it does is put water and moisture back into your skin. Mine used to do that too and then I tried this stuff and its great. It doesn't make my skin greasy at all, now I no longer have dry flaky scaly skin. It cant hurt to ask your local mary kay rep for a sample for you to try for free before you buy it.

What kind of doc did you consult? A GP?
Eczema is treatable, call the National Skin Centre (www.nsc.gov.sg) to consult a specialist - a senior consultant. You can't be wrong, trust me.

I've discovered that Neosporin (sp?) works on almost any type of dry skin problems...get the cream kind, though. It's not as oily as the other kind.

any hydrocortisone cream that you can buy over the counter will help with the flaking. Eczema is impossible to cure but I find the hydrocortisone creams keep it from flaring up.
