That's funny. Were did you get that from. I am 52 and I don't have cancer and I work all types of hours. Night and day and sometimes 12 to 16 a day for 7 days a week..
Like working nights. That way I could go to doctor or other places without taking off work. That help save my days for my real vacation.
But working nights doesn't cause cancer. Only in your mind it does when you want a reason to be with your friends to party.

Working a night shift doesnt cause cancer. You may and I'm no expect on this but, whatever negative changes you have taken due to taking on night shifts that may cause uncertainties in your system such as less exercise or eatting more foods that are bad for your body that may be taking a toll on your body. These wont neccessarily cause cancer but they can be a direct effect say longterm.

I heard it can cause breast cancer and possibly prostate. They say when you are awake at night your melatonin levels cannot get high. They go up when you are in the dark with no light.
This lack of melatonin production they say might cause certain cancers.
