I'm applying to the Naval Academy this year and you have to take a fitness test and do 18 pullups but I'm stuck on 10. I do pullups all the time and I can't get past 10. Do you know any exercises or stretches that can help me pump a few more out?

I was doing my Tae Bo workout this morning and did a back kick and did it way to hard and high and something snapped! Right under my left butt cheek all the way down the back of my thigh. Ow....

I spend about an hour every day exercising, doing jogging on the spot, sit ups, weights, etc, i have three regualr sports and i stay off junk food and chocolate etc. Yet inspite of this, i am still a Peter Crouch lookalike and two stone underweight. I want to put on more muscle mass and improve my fitness, but with all the exercise i am still a stick who gets puffed out after ten minutes of squash.

Is there a way to lose 5 lbs in a week? I went on vacation, went off hte diet, and gained quickly... I recently lost 35 lbs, and bought all new clothes, now some dont fit, and I have special plans next week! I have gone back to the diet and exercise, but nothing sems to be moving..any way to jumpstart the weight loss or to loose those 5 lbs quick?

Hi guys,

I have moderatelly slow metabolism. I excercise very often, and put a great care on what I eat, but they are not that much effective.

I have some questions about getting fit.

a. is there any other way to increase metabolism, other then the excercises that I am already doing, and popular fitness diets?

I was told once that taking multi-vitamin is effective on increasing metabolism. Is it true? If it is, then is this the only way to increase the metabolism?

b. What is the ideal amount of excercise per a week to be fit? I excercise at least 4 times a week, about 1 hours each. Is it enough?

c. I learned myself that being healthy actually means being attractive. What remedies or vitamins do you recommend to be healthy (therefore, being fit?)?

For back ground information, I am 26 years old Asian male, with history of taking anti-depressent called "Paxil".
