Hi,
don't eat too much fatty foods. Stay away from any fast food or already made food (microwave food). Eat protein (chicken, meat, eggs, fish). Potatoes, vegetables and rice should be the majority of your meal. Also get the right amount of vitamins (a great part of them and minerals you get through eating your meal). And no candy, sweets or unhealthy snacks. Carbohydrates, for example, crackers in a too great of an amount will turn into fat if you don't exercise. A great substitution for chips or crackers are cut up vegetables with a nice dip sauce (not too much fat in the sauce). Drink 1 1/2 liters of fluid per day (water is the best, if you are under twenty, milk also is good.
Take at least a half hour walk per day in a relatively fast speed. And try to do a bit more of a craving exercise out two times a week.

Buy the book Body for Life by Bill Phillips or check out www.bodyforlife.com. It's not a scam, I promise, just a basic diet and exercise plan that ANYONE can do. It's the best plan which has worked for me, I started on 4/27/05 and have lost (and kept off) more than 20lbs and 15% body fat and have been living it ever since. You can do this, make the committment and go for it.
Body for Life (EAS) awards the person with the best 12 week transformation $1 Million every year....now if that isn't motivation, I don't know what is.

Are you talking 20 pounds or 100 pounds? There are no quick fixes, it's about moving more and consuming less. Each decade of your life you should consume roughly 10% less calories. You have to have cardio, strength training and a good eating plan. Start by cutting out all sauces, gravies, butters, then cut down (not out) breads, rolls etc. Then get rid of the sweets, cakes, cookies. Be gone whole milk! Don't stop eating, get enough calories! Weight Watches is the most sensible plan. You can join online. Combine that with the website nutritiondata.com and you should be on your way. You can't expect to get rid of years of excess weight QUICK. Log where you start so you know where you've been, this will keep you motivated. The body is meant to move and ANY movenment is benificial !

What is your age???
You can lose the desired weight or even more.
Any way follow some tips to work for entire of your life.
Good luck.
Generally you gain weight because of fats deposits, just dissolve them. How?
People go for losing weight by pills or starving.
Pills do not act effectively and for longer durations. Pills have many side effects for your health.
Starving weakens you and your defense system is also weakened. This makes you less resistant against infections and other diseases.
The best way is to lose weight by change of diet and your physical activities.
1. Reduce or stop to take oils and fats.
2. Stop taking sugar and glucose. (Mainly tea, coffee & cold drinks.
3. Stop taking potato, rice.
4. Reduce wheat and corn as much as possible.
5. Take food twice a day. (Thrice will also be acceptable).
6. Do not take any solid or liquid diet during intervals of your food times.
Take vegetables, boiled meat, fruits (even sweet).
And at the top of all:
Play physical games or walk, as per requirement of your age at least 40 to 60 minutes twice a day.
Do not take any thing during game or walk.
You will start losing weight to the extent of daily difference.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Burn more calories then your consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. Get a fitness calculator that you can put on your cell phone and computer. This will allow you to easily calculate this formula, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as white potatoes) and drink lots of water.
Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/PyramidLRG.gif?osCsid=26a424be471d1337e7c2f105d5c64d9d
*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.
Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with excellent resistance training routines that will not get you bored is "Muscle and Fitness". Signup for the free newsletter.
A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.
*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.
*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com
Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Email me if you want a good indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have other questions.
