What is a basic job description?

How do you protect yourself from excessive radiation?

Is overexposure to X-rays a concern for the worker?

What is done for workers who are overexposed to radiation?

The Equipment—

What equipment is used?

What tests can be done with these instruments?

What risks are involved for the patient?

How are these risks minimized?

I am gonna get braces (top and bottom) in just over a week and realised hey, perhaps I won't be able to play my cornet anymore. Is it still possible to play a cornet (and trumpet) with top and bottom fixed braces? Is it just a case of take a few weeks off and then get used to it or is it just impossible? I kind fo want to know as I plan to get an A-Level in music on my cornet (2 year course) and if I need braces for two years then I'm pretty much stuffed.

Thanks

I lost one of my bottom molars, and I am thinking about getting an implant in it's place.

Can someone give me some information on
what the process is?
how long is the surgery?
what is the recovery like?
is it as strong as a regular tooth?
is it very painful?
do they knock you out for the procedure?
how much is it?

I can't find anything online about whats normal for healthy wisdom teeth that grows in and has enough space, its very annoying. I have no medical and can't afford to go in and pay bills if theres no reason to go in. I just am really starting to overly stress so hopefully someone can help me. Im usually very good at handling pain but this pain is quite intolerable at times. I have a wisdom tooth and it clearly has enough room coming in but theres flaps of flesh covering the half closest to the back. Is that normal? When i pull it back there is weird tasting blood coming out but just a lil bit. Is that normal? Is it normal for the flesh to be somewhat red from the crown under it or an infection from food debris? My mouth has a hard time opening at times but its not really that swollen. The pain is pretty contant but dissappears at times. There is a hard dot like thing around the white stretch mark like flesh at the very back above the wisdom tooth at the arch. Thanks for taking the time.

I just my teeth scaled and now that the numbness has worn off my top teeth feel loose like they want to fall out. Is this normal? What kinds of food should I eat after the procedure?

For some reason I have to be in a different room, usually the most spacious room - not necessarily the biggest. I just feel like I'm being smothered if I brush my teeth in the bathroom. My bathroom isn't really tiny either.

One of my strange bits...

I don't think my wisdom teeth are impacted at all. I can see the crown growing up. I think is it was growing in sideways or if it was impacted then the crown wouldn't be showing or it would be shown pushing against the nearby tooth, but it isn't. I think the pain is coming from how the tooth is growing in. I think its growing in normal but unsure if theres enough room. The tooth is growing up into (unsure what the name of the tissue is) You know the very back where the wisdom tooth grows, theres an arch and a lot of flesh that looks like cheek issue where the gums seem to end. Well my tooth is pushing that cheek issue in the archway and its growing in a spot and making room I guess? Its turning the flesh in the back white like stretch marks and its making it wrinkled. Its just really painful. Ibprofen only makes the pain somewhat bareable. Its been 6 days of contact pain. There is no infection im sure. salt water and bakign soda are useless.any ideas if this is normal for growing right?

Are there any grants out there for dental work? I'm a single mom with a full time job, and in school. I have major dental needs including needing my wisdom teeth out! My dental insurance only covers 1,000 a year which I go through fast! I need help!

Dentist can inject an anesthesia with their needles into your gums without causing any pain, if they wanted to, but they don't seem to care. I know for a fact they can, because I've had it done. You would think they would care, in order to keep their clients. Most dentist remind me of Steve Martin in "Little House of Horrors" where he played a sociopathic dentist that relished in causing pain, which makes me wonder if Martin's portrayal was telling us the truth about dentist. It seems true to me.
