Dentist can inject an anesthesia with their needles into your gums without causing any pain, if they wanted to, but they don't seem to care. I know for a fact they can, because I've had it done. You would think they would care, in order to keep their clients. Most dentist remind me of Steve Martin in "Little House of Horrors" where he played a sociopathic dentist that relished in causing pain, which makes me wonder if Martin's portrayal was telling us the truth about dentist. It seems true to me.

i so AGREE with you. I actually refuse to go to the dentist now because of this. I even woke up when they were surgically removing my wisdom teeth and told me to bear with them b/c they were almost done. I was like WHAT????!!!!! I've never been back to a dentist since then.

no i dont agree totally with u,every dentist wants his patients to get rid of his pain immediately, but to give a anesthia its not easy he will have to check the patients body conditions and quite few important vital stastics to be taken and if needed he wouls give a aneasthia.so donot think dentist wants his pat to suffer in pain
