All NHS areas have what is called the Community Dental Service. The aim of the Community Dental Service (CDS) is to provide primary care dental services to children and patients with special requirements including the elderly and disabled (housebound). They will have mobile surgeries and dentists who do domiciliary visits.

You don't say where you live so it is not possible to give you details of your local CDS. Try googling Community Dental Service + your home town/county for more details.

If you want good answers, you really should add information so we can respond.

I know of a few doctors who will go to nursing homes and care for elderly or alzhiemer patients. Not much can be done without x-ray equipment or high-speed handpieces, but they can do some extractions.

If you are really confined to your home, what sort of treatment would you need? Dental equipment is hard to transport even if a dentist was willing to try to help you.

I don't think a dentist will come & treat you at home. It's hard enough to get an appointment to see one in a surgery as it is.

maybe yu should explain why? you can't go to the dr's office? just saying "treat me at home" leaves a bit to ponder?

HI,
DENTISTS ARE NOT LIKE PLUMBERS. THEY DON'T MAKE HOUSE CALLS.
