I have had wisdom teeth and others pulled out due to over crowding in my mouth and having too many teeth to begin with.. If I can have it done then just about anybody can because when it comes to needles and pain i'm not the bravest person in the world... But once they give you a very small injection you wont or should'nt feel a thing.. Later on you might perhaps feel a little discomfort which is to be expected but thats about it & I'm sure if he'a a good Dentist he will give you antibiotics or whatever he thinks you may need.. So trust me dont loose sleep over it or anything like that because before you know it everything will be all over and you will say gee and I did all that worrying for nothing really....

Good luck and keep smiling :-) Cuz life's too short to :-(

I'd rather have a tooth pulled than cut my nails too short. It's not that bad really. I think it's mostly uncomfortable because of the gause and numb feeling. If the tooth is infected, you may make mention of it though so you can take antibiodics before getting it pulled.
PS, I'm not a dentist.

Nah. If you are not nervous or anything, it feels like you get a pat on the back. If you fear about it or anything, you will just ruin the good, painless feeling! ^_^

They just numb you,(which you won't even feel because of the little gel that they put in your mouth first...I would go for the bubble gum flavored or the mint. hose are the best ^_^). Then they slowly start putting the numbing thing. Then the wait for 5 minutes or so for the numbing the set in. Then, they make a hole or something on your tooth to loosen it. Then they just pull it out. Trust me, it's feels like nothing.

The Dentist will numb your jaw and possibly give you a general anesthetic to sleep through the procedure. When this wears off there will be pain meds to take for a few days. With the meds you will only feel slight pains. Good luck.

the dentist will numb your gums and then pull out the tooth. not much blood comes out. almost none at all. no need to worry. dentists go to school for the longest time. they definetly know what they're doing. if you're still a little nevous, bring someone along so they can stay with you to maybe keep you calm.....hope i helped :)

no - the injection is the worst bit, but even that isn't too bad. The needle *looks* really scary, but it's just a little uncomfortable. Then when they pull the tooth you won't feel pain at all. It's worrying before you go in, but having had it done, I wouldn't worry again. You'll be fine - good luck!!

yes it hurts - a lot!
i am being honest
the worst bit is hearing the tooth cracking 'crunching and squeaking in the socket.

the local anesthetic will take care of the pain for a few hours just get some painkillers ready at home start taking them just as you start to feel the anesthetic wearing off

You are fully sedated or that area of the mouth is so sedated - and you are awake - that you don't feel the pain. There is bleeding, but the dentist will stitch up the area and - afterwards - it is negligible. Don't worry yourself over feeling a lot of pain.

I've had six teeth pulled. It doesn't hurt because they'll drug you up really really good. It'll be a little sore the next day but that's it, and you can't eat solid food at all, which sucks!
