Ok its about a 30 minute process. Its pretty painless. They put on this sour tasting paste for the brackets. Then they put this thing that prys open your mouth. You have to keep your mouth open untill the paste dries. Then they slip in the wires. That pretty much sums up the process. Remember to take tyonnol afterwards because your teeth will be a little sore. I recomend eating soup, ice-cream, yougurt, things to that effect for a few days. After that just remember no hard things like Jolly Ranchers ( sucking on them is ok) Aviod carmel ( pain to get off brackets) and popcorn ( well I guess its ok as long as you brudh your teeth afterwards. Don't worry about it though you won't even realise that you have them in a few weeks.

Well it all depends with the teeth pulling. I had to get some pulled but it is unlikely you will have to get them pulled also.Braces are tight on your teeth and gums for a few weeks. Just take some advil and you will be ok. Also when ot comes to going back for a braces tightening you will feeel a little of the same discomfort from when you first got them. Dont worry! Mine where only on for about a year, every person is different. It will be fine.....GOOD LUCK!

The actual application is painless, it's the tightening that is a little to get uset to. After each tightening it'll hurt to eat food at first, but that goes away in about a day. right you get the braces , It'll feel a little wierd at first, like your lips are sticking out. And when i had braces i couldn't eat carmel, taffy, (anything sticky) chew gum, corn on the cob, but I'd cut it off the cob so it wouldn'd get stuck in my braces. Popcorn was a toughy too. Good luck!

Check out the site linked below. It's by a couple of dentists and shows step by step, with both written explanations and photos, what happens when you have braces put on.
They also have pages about what happens when you go in to have your adjustments and what happens when you finally get your braces off. Overall it's a great site if you want to know what to expect about any part of the process.
Good luck!

i just got mine yesterday and well... it really sucked!! i've been told that you'll get used to them but its been only a day and theyre realllllly getting annoying. sorry to say but braces are extremely uncomfortable for the first day. when i got mine on it took like 2 hours to fit the brackets and glue them in place. also, my teeth are reallly sore. when you get yours go out and buy icecream, soups, mashed potatoes and stuff. theyre about the only things you can eat for a while. hope that helps!

Ok go with colors you like best. If you dont know your colors, when you go tomorrow, ask them to give you time and you look at every color and think about what you would look like with them on. Have a visual picture in your mind about it. And when you get confident with the colors you want just tell them. Dont forget to also think about combinations. (no one can tell you what colors you want cuz we are all different in a good way.) :)

i just got the rest of mine on on monday, i only had the top ones on, but i just got a full mouth, when you first get them on, expect your mouth to be sore for a couple days, and be prepared to eat soft food cause it hurts like heck to bite into stuff, maybe its just me, im a pretty bing baby, lol. but after that, you can eat whatever, i mean, as soon as you get used to them, screw what your othro said, just brush your teeth whenever there's crap between your brackets, cause a mouth full of food isnt too peachy to look at.

don't worry about it. getting them put on does not hurt. once they start to put in the new brace get some gum to chew to help stay off any pain you might have.
