Tommorrow I am getting 4 of my 2nd to back teeth out because they don't have adult teeth underneth, then the week after that I'm going to have braces put it. I hate injections so much, and with my 2 fillings I told them to hold the injection. I've seen my sister have teeth taken out before and it looks so..gross.

What does it feel like when the dentist has got your tooth in metal thing and yanking away?

Thanks.

My second and hopefully final appointment to the dentist about the root canal I got done a week ago is tomorrow. I just called to confirm what procedure is left to be done and my dentist said "post" something... im assuming post and core? now what is this for? i read its to prepare tooth for a crown, but my tooth wasnt really destroyed after the root canal procedure. Is it possible to get a post and core and not get a crown (instead just fill it with a filling)??

i have had my back tooth extracted 2 days ago! and although i felt nothin during or after, this past 2 days my gum, not in the hole part but the side is swollen like a little bubble. and my cheek is sore and swollen slightly! i used to get abcesses an this was the reason for getting the tooth out, now im scared as i dont know whether this is just the after effect of tooth extraction or is there somethin wrong! remember this was 2 days ago!

please help im panicking?

I recently went to an 'assembly-line' dental clinic. Was told I had gum disease and needed a root canal. Although my glands were very swollen at the time, I was not prescribed antibiotics. Within days I was sick: very swollen glands and exhaustion. The tooth needing the root-canal has never ached and truthfully, the dentist never called it an "abcessed tooth".

The infection I have had has had me flat on my back, off and on, for 3 weeks. Could the infection be a result of the gum disease or the "tooth needing the root canal"? I am baffled as are my doctors.

You know that string like thing that basically holds your tongue in your mouth? Well I hate it. It gets in my way and I don't want it. I had a friend who had it done... What kind of doctor would I go see though?

I started a root canal about five months ago but it wasn't finished, I thin k I had to go back one more time for a final filling and/or a crown..

I had recently moved to Hawaii to go to school, and I forgot about it..

The hole is filled with something they put in, the last time I was there.

Is something bad going to happen to the tooth? Plaque, re-do root canal, etc....

I know I grind my teeth. now my one ear is tickly and weird sometimes. The Specialist suggested a splinth. and a panoramic x-ray, I had done. I probably have TMJ and now have to go to the orthodonist to get fitted for the thing because when I close my mouth all the way it feel a little tension in the jaw. I think due to the way they rearranged my bite when I was 12 and had braces. My dentist kinda agreed this might be the problem. the ear thing is a total drag. Anyone ever have this problem???
thank you very much.

Just wanted to know if it was something to worry about. I have it now for about a week and it seems a little bit larger. Is there any medicine i could put on it to make it heal.. The only thing i found on the internet was that it is oral cancer but I cant find a picture that looks like it.

I had 9 teeth extracted today and I am wondering, besides the obvious pain medication, what are some good, effective ways to relieve the pain?
