It does work - that's why they put it in toothpaste. But it tastes nasty and it's a miserable process. If you want white teeth get the Crest bleaching strips, they work fast and they're not too expensive. Or, the best option is to get bleaching trays made at your dentists office. I don't know how much they charge but they are awesome. (get the soft ones if they're available) they last forever if your teeth are fully erupted and you're not moving them with retainers or braces in the near future. Then you just buy bleach for them whenever your smile needs a lift. Baking soda just isn't worth it.

Both are a bad idea, if you brush twice a day with a whiting toothpaste and stay away from drinks and food that stain your teeth you'll be find. I do not recommend using either as baking soda is abrasive and peroxide is dangerous.

Yes it works. My friend's parents are both dentists and she's done this and has a BEAUTIFUL white smile.

However, she says it tastes pretty bad and therefore only does this 2 months out of the year.

It does whiten your teeth, but it is really bad for your gums.

not sure what results you mean, but yeah, it's a good way to keep 'em clean if you can't afford toothpaste, though it tastes awful.
