Im getting braces today... only on top 6 teeth. What is the best color for the brackets??

get silver bands. they make the braces blend in better with your teeth. white bands tend to discolor after a few days because of food staining them.

Whatever color you like. Beware of the colors that make it look like you have junk on your teeth tough. And remember that sometimes the transparent ones stain the colors of food that you eat. My eigth grade class photo is witness to that. If you don't want to draw attention to your braces then I suggest gray because they blend in with the brackets and don't stain. Remember that braces can be embarrassing at first but you can have fun with them and wear funky colors. And everytime you go in for a tightening you can change colors!

Hey Kool,
I'd be careful about the clear or white bands. . .. We've had trouble in this house with those colors staining. Spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, those types of foods are the usual culprits. The stained bands look pretty cruddy. Think about the foods you eat, and take that into account when you choose!
Ibuprofen might be a good choice later today, too!

i think colored braces are more for girls. i am sorry to tell guys this out there with colored braces but they are. the best color for a guy is black or no color at all. i would say no color at all though because i have never seen a guy with colored braces. only with black and plain.

I have clear braces at the moment because I'm constantly in confrences and speaking in meetings and I don't want people concentrating at my teeth.

I worked for a bunch of men and I wouldn't recommend getting Red ones. IF your around stupid men with gross minds you will here some weird and nasty stuff wearing the Red ones!!
Choose a color that will look good with you clothes!!

I'd get the white or clear ones. My friend back in school got green once....she looked like she had something in her teeth for awhile.. LOL
Or, any color you want- it's your mouth! =)

I would get the transparent ones. They are less invasive looking so to speak, plus coming to think about it match with everything lol. Good luck.
