I had 9 teeth extracted today and I am wondering, besides the obvious pain medication, what are some good, effective ways to relieve the pain?

well obviously dont get drunk...the medications mixed with alchohal isnt to smart and alchohal thins your blood and you need the blood the clot in those holes or you can get dry socket!. I recently had all 4 of the wisdom teeth pulled and was in bad bad pain. Try putting ice packs on it to reduce swellingand pain. and take your medications. i used ice packs the whole time and it made it feel better and hurt less. But be sure you are taking your meds!!!
