One of my very front, top teeth was filed down because I had chipped it. I was filed down quite a bit. Will it deteriorate faster? If so, what can I do?

Will I be out of it for a few days or after a few hours will I be ok to go out (nothing crazy obviously)

I am not much for bed rest and actually have plans with friends later the same night I am having my 4 wisdom teeth removed (at 9:30am). I read that some people went out later the same day and some went to the mall after... Any and all advice is welcome and appreciated....

I'm 31 and have probably neglected them over the years. I think my dental hygene wasn't such a priority when i was younger. I look young but when i open my mouth they look stained and are getting darker. Brushing regularly (even intensively) and using mouth wash really doesn't do much it certainly doesn't get rid of the darkening.

I have considered cosmetics becuase i think they are in some way diseased but the dentist have never even mentioned them. It is begining to get me down becuase people think that i'm unhygenic. It certainly makes me self conscious when i'm out becuase i like smiling.

I think a certain part of it is staining due to drinking red wine (they look really bad having drunk red wine) smoking doesn't help either. But the really bad bit is the top of my front teeth i think they are the worst effected of them all. It makes them look as though they are all wrotting. My girlfriend often makes remarks about how horrible they are which obviously doesn't help

Monday I woke up and when I brushed my teeth, my gums started bleeding like crazy. Not normal. And only around the teeth on the sides of my mouth, not my front 4 bottom and top teeth??? It hurts!!! And I thought if your gums bleed you need to brush more, so since then I have been brushing, gargling with saltwater & hydrogren peroxide. They are still bleeding and are so sore and achy now it hurts to brush, but I'm trying to keep them clean, so what can I do?? Sunday I was fine. How would this happen all of the sudden??

I try to floss when I have the time but sometimes get lazy and think brushing and mouthwash are enough.

Over the past two weeks, I have pain when I floss between my back lower right tooth and my gold crown right next to it. Now today, all of a sudden, that back tooth is aching pretty bad with pain twinges in the jaw and ibuprofen is not helping.
(All four wisdom teeth were removed three or four years ago.)
Does it sound like my tooth is dying from the inside? This is the type of pain I had before I had to have a root canal on a tooth on the other side of my mouth two years ago.

I'm getting my teeth removed next Monday, and will be receiving local anasthetic(sp?). I'm really scared about the procedure. Any tips? I have very bad anxiety normally, and I am afraid I'll freak out while they're taking out the teeth. Also, does anyone know how long the procedure takes if it's not done surgically?

within the next three to seven days, i'm about to wear my braces. i would say that i did not bother that much to research on how braces going to affect my lifestyle... how it's gonna hurt while it's being put on, one week after, two weeks after, a month or so..., after adjustments had been made...

i would like to hear your experiences or sharings about having braces...
