I use an Oral-B electric toothbrush. Since changing from the manual brush my regular checkups have been greatly improved. I can feel the difference in effectiveness between the two types. Electric takes some getting used to, but there's no turning back.

I use manual, I've never tried electic because I feel I can take my own brush and hit some hidden spots. (Ex. the teeth in the back)

I use that Oral B pulsar and let me tell you my teeth have never been so clean. Even the back ones feel like I just came from the dentist having gotten a routine check-up complete with cleaning.

Both
I use a sonic care and a colgate by alternating them each day. I do this because I didn't like the harshness of the electic everyday and I like to keep my real brush.

I use an electric ever since my dental hygenist insisted that I use one and I do think it keeps my teeth and gums cleaner and healthier.
