Keep it gooed up with triple anti-biotic ointment, not creme, but ointment. Flush with Hydrogen Peroxide solution twice a day. Keep it open to air. Take gobs of extra Vitamin C and some D supplements to promote healing. Keep your tongue off it. Soak your lip at night in a cup of hot water with two tablespoons salt dissolved in it. Rinse with plain tap water and apply triple antibiotic goo. It'll heal OK unless you have some problem with your immune system. If it gets infected (drains, red and hot areas) see your physician right away.

Remove any forign objects from the wound and clean often and thouroughly. And dont toung it all day. You may need stiches to close up the cut.. OH wait you WANT a peice of metal hanging out of your mouth!! ICK!

Remove it! Hit your head three times on the wall and ask yourself, "why did I do that?" Oh don't forget you will have a scare there the rest of your life.

Take it out. It looks nice, but it can really screw up your teeth and gums in the long run. Trust me...
