I've been an Assistant (General, Ortho and Oral Surgery) for almost 15 yrs now, and i've never seen this... But i have heard of cases like this. Where do you live? I want to be there, when they take them out! hehehe Could be educational, from my stand point of view as well as very exciting. Why i dont know, LOL.. I guess teeth are in my blood!

I believe it is just hereditary. My father had 2 sets of wisdom teeth, so did my sister, I had 6. While not all that common, it is not unheard of.

omg, I'm starting to get my top wisdom teeth again, i had the first ones pulled when i was 19. i spoke to my dentist to see if it was normal, and he told me that is was normal, but rare, like nothing is wrong, some ppl just get them twice. but if u had ur first ones pulled, u have to have ur second ones pulled, for some reason i forgot. i thought i was the only freaky person, lol jk.

never heard of such a thing. sounds more like you had molars removed as child that were abscessed and now your wisdom teeth are coming in or giving you issues.
