My eye doctor told me that i have a catarac in my right eye. I am only 24. He didnt tell me anything else. Just got me glasses. Seems odd at 24. Any help? :(

when i get stressed out or upset or have problems with anxiety i tend to bite or chew on the skin over my knuckles on my hands, and its not really something i can help. it doesnt break the skin or anything but my knuckles are usually sort of red and sometimes have scabs, like when you have a small abrasion or something. i know its kind of gross, and i wouldnt really consider it self injury but my friend thinks it is

I'm on vacation around Denver right now and am hating it. The high elevation (!5,000 ft.) makes me get bad headaches along with running out of breath very easily/my heart racing while doing simple things like climbing a flight of stairs. If you have any advice, please help me out.

Okay today at basketball i went to go shoot and i turned and just fell and heard a pop..My coach asked me where it hurt and it was down by my ankle bone.or whatever.and he told me he thinks i tweaked it.i can put a lil pressure on it.but not a whole lot yet.but i just can't turn it that much yet ..so he told me to ice ice ice.I have a basketball game tomorrow.at 2 and i don't know if i can play.I have been icing it since 7 and it is now 9:14 do you guys think i will be able to play tomorrow if i keep icing it down..and then wrap it tomorrow before game.plz hurry and answer my question before tomorrow..Thanx sooo much..

I am just now coming off of my first three months on quasense. Before that, I was on trinessa. I have been off of quasense for 5 days now after never missing a pill and only being a few hours late one morning. I have not yet had my period, only what looks to be extremely light spotting. She lost her husband in March, had to move to assisted living, etc. She hates taking drugs, but has sugar, breast cancer from 1997 returned, kidney problems. She has become weaker and forgetful and just different in the last weeks. Lives in assisted living and has meds administered. What will happen in the days ahead if the kidneys are shutting down, and she does not want dialysis. Will she become bedridden> She does have living will and says what will happen will happen. Doctors know and she is aware of what she wants. I am in charge of her affiars. Can anyone put a time frame on kidney failure without aggressive treatment?

I been having this problem with my eyes since the optician dilated my eyes..its been a month since then and i see alot of those sprinkling white stuff and the optician who dilated my eyes said it should go away but he seemed like he didnt really know what it was.. its not floaters or stuff like that..he asked if its flashes of light but its not flashes of light either..its white sprinkling stuff..he even checked my eyes and he said he doesnt see anything wrong with my eyes. when i also look at some letters, it looks like its shaking and i told him that and he tested with that stick thing but he said he doesnt see anything wrong. this never happened before i got those eye drops in my eyes. i dont wanna get my eyes dilated again.

I dont know how to explain this but what is it called when people start to say blunt stuff. To clear things up for example my moms uncle had cancer and 2 days before his death he starts to remember people who are dead and starts to recite their name or stuff like this. Now my grandppa has pneumonia and my father calls and tells my mom he is saying things like If i survive through this day i will survive or etc. Like they start acting weird and all. Not to be cruel. But what is this? Is this an indicator of anything. I know they gave him sedatives, etc.

I woke up this morning and felt SO sick to my stomach. It keeps coming in waves and I have a feeling I'm getting sick. :( What are some ways to reduce nausea?

Also, this may sound silly, but is there a way to stop myself from becoming sick or to allow it to pass as quickly as possible? Is it better to keep eating well and moving around or better to just get some rest?
