ok, shaving down there can be tricky. SO here is what works for me.

1. Trim it with scissors. The longer hairs can get stuck in a razor so make sure you trim the hair in order to make it easier to shave.
2. Get in the warm shower, or put a warm wet washcloth over the area you will be shaving to soften up the hair.
3. Put a lot of shaving cream and a little bit of either lotion or hair conditioner mixed in and lather that onto the area you will be shaving.
4. Be very gentle, but shave the opposite direction of hair growth to get a close shave.
5. Rinse the razor out often, so you can avoid annoying hair getting in your way.
6. Make sure you have access to the lotion and shaving cream, because you will be applying it more than once!
7. Pat dry the skin, as it is VERY sensitive, and then apply some fragrance free lotion to the skin there. (fragrance can stimulate the cuticle and cause premature skin rash and razor burn).

8. have fun and wear some bikinis!

I don't shave at all. I use Nair Hair Removal. It works very well but you need to spend a bit of time in the bathroom. Pretend it is a spa day! Turn on some music. Place a towel and pillow on the floor. Apply the Nair on your lower area pubic hair. Be careful and do not let it touch the inner areas of your who-who. The Nair can irritate that area and leave with an extremely uncomfortable feelings (speaking from experience). Then lay down on your towel and pillow and let the Nair do the work. By the time you finish the process, you will have a completely bald vajay-jay. And to prevent in-grown hair apply men's aftershave to that area. You will feel a nice cool, burning feeling that will leave your vajay-jay with a menthol fragrance. I hope that works for you. I prefer this method over shaving.

A few other tips:

- Use a fresh razor, not a dull one that has been over your legs.

- There is special lotion for down there by one of the major hygiene makers (Massingil or Summers Eve). Do NOT use scented lotions that might have sugar or it will cause a yeast infection.

- The first time or three you shave might give you razor burn, but after a while it's no problem.

- My wife uses the shave cream with the lotion built in (Skintiment) and it seems to work. I have also heard that rubbing warm baby oil into the skin before shaving prevents razor burn.

Just trim the longer hairs so that they won't get in the way. If you don't mind someone looking 'down there', then you can go to a beauty salon to get it waxed. I've shaved once and won't be doing it again!

Trim the top part, the pubic bone area, down pretty good with those small cuticle scissors. Then, get in the shower and soap up really good and with your really good disposable shaver, carefully shave the area around the outside, being very careful.
