Vitamin C deficiency. Bloodshot eyes, bloody noses, broken capilliaries on the skin's surface, easy bruising and easy susceptibility to the common cold are all symptoms of vitamin C deficiency. Eat more foods rich in this vitamin ie: citrus fruits, lemons, limes and oranges, tomatoes, potatotes, leafy and green vegies, red and green peppers.

Vitamin C plays a primary role in the formation of collagen, which is important for the growth and repair of body-tissue cells, gums, blood vessels, bones and teeth. it is also used up rapidly under stressfull conditions.

Try to avoid the Vitamin C thieves such as smoking, cough syrups and aspirin.

It might be the dry winter air. But if this started suddenly, you might want to check for diabetes or high blood pressure.

If you're getting nose bleeds because your mucus membranes are drying out, try drinking extra water, breathing steam, and maybe even use a bit of some kind of moisturizer under your nose.

Good luck!

You probably have a dried out nose and a previous wound that's slow to heal and keeps cracking back open. Get some saline rinse for the nose and keep it hydrated

It could mean that you don't have enough moisture in your nose. You could try some saline nose spray (get it at any drug store). You should also go to the doctor and have it checked out.
