I had two teeth taken out today at 4:00 P.M., and my dentist injected four doses of novocaine...does it wear off in one day? I'm playing the trombone tomorrow in my school band and I need it to wear off!!!!! I can't even play now that my mouth is numb!

I have conjunctivitis, self diagnosed. Ive got watery eyes, red, swollen with a little burn at times. My question is do I absolutely have to go to the doctor or can I use these eye drops to heal this affliction? Is there something else I can use as well? I know I should go to the doc but I dont really have the means to right now...

My insurance just ended in July 07. Now I need to get my wisdom teeth pulled out. But I'm a college student who doesn't have much money. Most insurance places make you pay for 6 months and then you can get oral surgery to pull out wisdom teeth. Do you know any insurance that lets you get the surgery right away if you sign up? I'm doing research on various medical conditions and diseases and need royalty-free photos to illustrate these. Not illustrations or stock photos for ads or websites, but *actual* photos documenting real patients who suffer from these diseases (shot during examination or surgery and not microscopic shots). I was watching on youtube a chinese bra ad and it was like a chest belt that lifts ur breasts to a 90 degrees angle and also makes blood circulate better so you seem to grown and ur breasts expand and this bra from the ad "gives you the perfect cleavage" im quite confused with this check it out on youtube and give me ur ideas of whether its the real deal

My wife got trichomonas vaginalis, and I read that this is a sexually transmited disease (STD), but neither my wife or me have been unfaithful. So I'd like to know if there's another alternative transmission method rather than sexual for this disease.

On Oprah the other day, Dr. Mehmet Oz said that the best thing we can eat is fiber. I wanna know what's better, grains or veggies/fruits? Sometimes I either don't have or don't want grains, and prefer veggies and fruits instead. Is this okay, or would grains be a better source of fiber than produce? Does it matter - is it a toss up between grains and produce? What's the scoop? Any and all information is most welcome, thanx.

hi my Freind who is 15, was messing about today on a balinster thats like a beam and she fell and landed on her vagina she was screaming in pain, and she started to bleed a lot. she couldnt even walk . me and her boyfreid carried her and layed her down on the bed to try and carm her down but she was in to much pain screaming , we took her jeans off her we could see loadz of blood on her under wear and every where . he went to pull her underwear down to see wa the matter and she started screaming even more she wouldnt even let her boyfreind have a look i ased him have he ever had sex wid her and he said no she will not let him go near her vagina wat could b wronge?? its been 3 hours since then and she still will not let us have a look we have given her some pain killers and they havnt worked that much we got her to carm down a bit she is still crying and cant wak should we take her its for her own good ?? we r at home alone she lives wid her dad nd her dad has gone away

embarrassing question:
so i've been on the depo shot for 9 months now...
and they told me eventually i'd stop getting my period
well now i get an awful period every 3 months before it's time to get another shot
my period will last for over 2 weeks
and i have alot of bleeding...
is this normal...
i don't want to tell my doctor...
i also feel really sick and get light headed...
could it be blood loss?...

Dispalced Wrist Anyone?
i have displaced all ov my carpal bones [wrist] , which have torn a ligament. i did this in June but its still killing me which i did whilst i was setting in volleyball

The doctors told me theres nothing wrong but were contradicted by the physiotherapist who has said that its displaced and ligaments are torn

Has anyone had a displaced wrist? if so.. please tell me how long it takes to heal and what you did to speed up the healing

The job I interviewed for said I'd need to take a phsycial if I was hired. I've never had one before. What's involved? Also a couple people told me I'd have to get naked. Is that true? Can I refuse? I'm absolutely 10000% not comfortable getting naked infront of anyone, including doctors that have seen anyone, and I'd avoid it at all costs (including getting this job). Is there anyway I can refuse to get naked, and still get a complete physical?

Hello. I am 17, and female, obviously, since this is a menstrual issue.
I have irregular periods.
However, they are generally not -this- irregular. My last period started on the 13th of June, and ended on the 20th.
It is now October 12th.
I am a virgin, and a lesbian, at that. And unless something that I'm repressing happened, I haven't been raped.
What could be wrong?
Has this happened to anyone before, that is reading this?
What should I do in this situation?

I woke up Wednesday morning achy with a sore throat. I spent all day yesterday in bed and just generally feel like crap today. My appetite is out the window and I feel like I'm getting a fever. I'm usually burning up in my office in the afternoons, and today I've got minor chills. Even though I slept all yesterday, I still feel exhausted. My husband had a flu shot last week. Someone told me today that it's possible I got the flu from him, since the flu shot contains the live virus. Is this true??????
